                                    Ek Onkaar              Jai Maa Lakshami

In India, it’s Thursday 30th Oct 2015 & time is 10:15 am

My Dear Friends & Readers,
As I had said in my last night post, that today is Karvachauth, a big festival for all married women on which they keep entire day fast for the happy & long life of their husbands, so I am back with loads of best wishes for all of them may God bless you all & bring new energy, happiness & prosperity in your life.
But I have not forgotten my promise either, I am back with “easy to make” recipes for them, so that they can also sleep during noon time & recover their lost energy. The fast is broken when they see the moon on the sky & their husband offers them a glass of water or eatables in the night…so happy Karvachauth to all of you…

So, now let’s start the day with the stories making round in the world of today’s headlines

v Today’s thought              Life is better when you don’t take things seriously.

v Today I am following       Singer Adnan Sami, for giving wrong info in the process of seeking Indian citizenship as per media reports & it’s also alleged that he does not pays tax for the income earned by him from his shows.

v Today’s Good News          Prof. Sameer & his team of California University has developed a capsule of Insulin, which will play a vital role in reducing/eradication of Insulin Injection which is required to be taken by the patient of diabetes. The specialty of this capsule is that it gets digested in your stomach very quickly & fulfills your need of scarcity of Insulin in your body, as Insulin scarcity raises your blood sugar level thereby resulting in this disease.
v Today’s Health Tip          vukj [kkus ls Mk;cVht] gkVZ dh rdyhQ vkSj ekmFk baQsd’ku ls cpko gksrk gSA

v Today’s Tech News          Visit www.refdesk.comto update yourself with vital facts & info that you would feel that for a student there could not be any good website better than this as you could also find search engines of google, yahoo & bing on its home page itself. In addition to this you will also find dictionaries, vikipedia, you tube & encyclopedia to search your needed info with archive related to vips, day’s headlines & vital incidents.

v Today’s Voice                  Today I am not going to say something, as I am going to insert a picture which was I found on twitter yesterday night & I want PM Modi to take good note of it & do the needful at the earliest, as it’s  a matter concerning our women, I am not against him, but I want to secure sanctity of our women/girls/minors/ teenagers:-

v Today’s Feel Good News   China ends its decades old “One Child Policy”, initiated since 1979, & today its Parliament passed a resolution of “We Two, Our Two”, thereby permitting couples to have 2 children. It is said that this decision is taken by the Chinese Govt. to reduce the generation gap between the old & new generation.

Another media reports (as published in yesterday’s newspaper of INext) say that due to less population of females over males as due to sex ratio reports there are 100 females over per 117 males in the country so the count of bachelor males has been increasing & to deal with it Economist Shi Juoshi (’kh tqvks’kh) has suggested that a marriage of two boys with one girl should be legalized on blog written by him saying that it’s a god idea.More than 2.6 milion people follow his blog. He’s a professor of University of Finance & Economy & this proposal of his has become “viral” in Chinese social media. Its expected that by 2020, the count of bachelors will raise to 30 million (3 Crores).

v Karvchauth Special         Today’s ‘make easy’ recipes for this great festival are:-
·       Recipe No-1: Dal Bhukhara, Serves – 4 – 5
·       Ingredients:
v 1 cup urhad dal
v 2 table spoon tomato poure (VksekVks I;ksjas)
v 1 tea spoon adrak ka paste
v 1 tea spoon lahsun ka paste
v 1 tea spoon kashmiri mirch
v 2 table spoon butter
v 2 table spoon cream
v 2 table spoon desi ghee
v Salt as per preference
v 4-5 well sliced tomatos
v ½ table spoon well grinded garam masala

·       Method: Soak dal in water in a big bowl for 7-8 hrs in a day & when it becomes completely soft after soaking for the said period, boil it.Put desi ghee in a pan, heat it & then after some time put a paste of adrak-lahsun, tomato poure (VksekVks I;ksjs), kashmiri mirch, butter & cream. Mix the paste well & cook it up for 5-10 minutes. Then put dal & tomato in this paste, as per your need add water in it & mix it, once dal becomes hard (‘garhi’, we say in Hindi) mix garam masala & salt. Dalbukhara is ready, garnish it with butter & serve it.

·       Recipe No-2: Varieties of “Karhi”
Today being your day, you can make entire family dance on your tune by trying varieties of karhi as given below & make them ‘die hard’ fan of your cooking skill

1)   Rajasthani Karhi – Ingredients & method is the same, but there’s a change in type of masala used, you can use ‘sauf’ & ‘kari patta’ in its masala & ‘sabut lalmirch’ & ‘rai’ kat tarka is its specialty.
2)   Gujarati Karhi – Sweet & sour taste is its specialty, here you use sugar alongside other ingredients, while ‘haldi’ is used less in it.
3)   Sindhi Karhi – Ingredients & method is the same, the only difference is you add vegetables as a part of its ingredients.
4)   Gatte Ki Karhi – The only difference is you make thick materials of ‘besan’ & cut it down to pieces & mix it, while other things remains the same.
So hope that all my Bhabhis would definitely enjoy this type of ‘easy’ cooking today & bring happiness & smile on the faces of their entire family members. So love you all & wish you all a very happy Karvachauth..
