When you say “love” from the depth
of your heart, a very fascinating, good & happy feeling charges you with
immense happiness & joy & you begin to fascinate about someone special
caring for you & loving you & with whom you can share every feeling of
your heart & every experience of your life openly & without any
hesitation. So this is something which binds two people forever despite of
differences, whatsoever it may be…but sometimes love kills your innocence &
changes your whole equation of life & your perception of love…
Today’s story is about a simple
slum girl whose idea & perception of love was the same as written above but
then something happened which changed her view towards life & particularly
love. So what happened to discover that you need to read this true story,
please keep in mind that names & locations have been changed to preserve
secrecy?
So my dear friends…. Here we go….
Raj, was a simple slum girl who
had just passed her graduation & like any other day today also she was
filling water in her utensils at a hand pump when a big silk grey colored
Mercedes car crossed her in speed & she shouted at the top of her voice,
“You bloody bastard!” suddenly that car stopped & a middle aged man perhaps
about 50-55 years of age pepped out of the window, reversed the car, came up to
Raj & said, “Do you know what’s the meaning of the words you said” &
she replied confidently “Yes! I do know, I am graduate & am looking for job
since past 3 months, but have not found one” He saw her from top to bottom, she
was wearing a light green colored saree & was sweating perhaps due to
immense labor she might have been doing at home & also because of “frequent
power cuts in the slum area & then he handed over his card to her &
asked her to come to his home tomorrow morning “sharp @10” & he repeated
twice “sharp @10 means @10, neither a second before nor a second after” &
rushed his car in a top speed.
With that card she went home &
showed it to her father Amar Singh & on seeing that card he was filled with
joy. This was the card of Vijay Singh, the famous distributor of paints &
his shop’s name was “Anand Paints”, which he had named after his son’s name.
Amar advised her to go to his home, but her clothes should be very well cleaned
& ironed after all, after all she’s going to meet a millionaire…
Next day sharp@10 am she was right
at his bungalow “Vijay Garden” , the
security guard, Chetan stopped her & in reply she forwarded Vijay’s card to
him & then he rang-up Vijay on the interphone “Sir ek ladki aap se milne
aayi hai…apna naam Raj bata rahi hai…”, Vijay replied “Haan use lawn mein
bithao, chai nasta karwao mein aa raha hoon…” he obeyed his master’s words
& when she entered the lawn her eyes were wide open, was it a bungalow or
palace his home was so big & yet there was so space in the lawn & at
the backyard was servant’s quarters & served tea & few snacks to her. In
next ½ an hour Vijay came down & greeted Raj “Good Morning Raj & in
reply before saying “Good Morning” to Vijay she bowed at his feet to seek his
blessings & said “Good Morning Sir”. Vijay was very surprised to see this
that a girl who greeted her with the phrase “You bloody bastard!” yesterday was
today at his feet. Well, he said “What’s this Raj?” & she replied
“Yesterday I did not knew who are you & today I know who are you so that’s
why this”. Vijay was hit by happy surprise as his own son has never bowed
before him for his blessings but Raj did & this juncture of her touched his
heart…& he said with a smile on his face “God Bless You”.
Vijay called Shyamali, senior maid
of his home, & asked her to get Raj’s uniform ready within a day so that
she can join from 9 am tomorrow morning…& ordered Raj “Tum kal se hamare
saath kaam kar rahi ho…kal subah theek 9 baja aa jana aur tum raat ko 7 baje
ghar chalijaogi…koi shaq…kuch pocchna chahogi…bas ek baat ka dhyan rakhna mera
beta hai Anand, woh thoda laparwah hai…tum us se sirf aur sirf English mein
baat karna…actually I am hiring you to bring him on the right track, he’s very
careless & I know only you can do it…first few days you need to watch him
& then you can do whatever you like but bring him on the right track”. Once
again she bowed before him to seek his blessings & said “Okay Sir! We shall
meet tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock sharp…”
Next day @8:40 am she was at his
bungalow & collected her uniform from Shayamali & was standing at the
dining table to serve him breakfast, although Shyamali was serving the
breakfast & she was just watching. But Vijay was impressed with her
punctuality & greeted her “Good Morning Shyamali & Raj” & both
replied in one voice “Very Good Morning Sir” & then while Shyamali was applying
butter on bread, Vijay was reading news paper, she interrupted “Sir please
don’t read news paper while breakfast is being served, it shows your
disrespectful attitude towards food” & Vijay was quick to close the paper,
though Shyamali was trying to stop her with signs.
Vijay liked her for this attitude
& then begun her day…
She kept a close watch on Anand
& did not utter a word…he woke up at 1 pm & as soon as he woke up he
uttered these words “Good Morning Shyamali Di. My morning tea please…” & in
reply he heard a new voice saying “first go & have a shower only then only
you can have your afternoon tea…” Anand was quick to respond “Who are you?”
& Raj replied “My name is Raj & your Dad has hired me as a new maid
just to take care of you & your life style, so if want your noon tea, it
will be surely served to you, but 1st you go & have a shower
only then tea will be served to you”, Anand had no option but to obey her &
he replied with a half heart “Okay! I am going”.
On his return he was served tea
along with Allo Paratha & now this angered him again as he was used to
having pizza but Raj was sharp to reply “It’s almost noon & at noon it’s
wise to have heavy lunch than just a pizza”, Anand had no choice but to obey
her orders & then she asked him “Sir! What would like to have in dinner”,
Anand replied arrogantly “I don’t eat dinner at home as I usually return at 3am
at night & then I straight away go to bed, so you don’t have to worry”, but
Raj replied “I don’t know what was happening before but from now on you would
be served dinner whether you return at 3 am or 4 am or 5 am. So please place
your order…” Anand looked at her from top to bottom & then said “Okay! If
you wish then please note it down, veg fried rice with chili chicken & hot
tomato soup” & Raj replied “Okay
Sir! dinner will be served on your return & what about evening tea?”
Anand was surprised at her confidence & he replied “Okay I prefer tea @3:30
pm along with popcorn & spicy noodles in my room & then I go out @ 4pm
& return late night”, “Okay Sir, all your orders shall be obeyed”.
Exactly @3:30 pm his room door
knocked & it was Raj with his evening tea meal & now Raj was impressed,
by this time he understood that Raj was qualified. He asked her “What’s your
qualification?” & Raj replied “I am an Arts Graduate” & Anand was quick
to add “So that’s why your English speaking is so strong…very nice keep up the
good work…don’t give-up your studies…” That evening she rang-up her father
& asked him to escort her clothes & belongings to Mr. Vijay Singh’s
bungalow “Vijay Garden” kyunki “Sahab ne mujhe ek bahut bada kaam diya hai apne
bête ko seedha karne ka aur iskilye mere yahaan rehna bahut zaroori hai isliye
aap mere saamman yahan pahucha dijiye…” & Amar obeyed her words.
Then with the help & under the
supervision of Shyamali she began to prepare dinner for Anand, but Mr. Vijay
was on time as always as he arrived at home @7pm, went to study for 2 hrs,
updated his records on PC & manually, saw TV news for ½ an hour, had his
dinner @9:30 pm & then he took a walk in his lawn for ½ an hour & went
to sleep at 10 o’clock. So this was his daily routine & Raj was wondering
that while father maintains such a systematic life style why not his son does
the same.
Well she was watching TV with
Shyamali after 10 & they began to watch a old movie named “Aradhana” on TV & after watching ½
movie Shyamali went to sleep but only after giving instructions to Raj
regarding how to switch off & switch on the TV & now time was 12:30 am
& movie had just concluded & Raj was almost feeling sleepy as “sleep
was conquering her body slowly & slowly” but she was trying very hard to
keep herself awake by watching TV. Then clock struck 1 & she switched off
TV set & slept on the dining table itself.
Then at 3:30 am sound of the car
broke her sleep & it was Anand who had came as new day was about to begin.
He was definitely not drunk but was in his own mood of merry making as he was
singing the song “So gaya yeh jahaan so gaya aasmaan, so gayee hain sari
manzilein so gaya hai rasta….so gaya yeh jahaan so gaya aasmaan…” As soon as he
entered the hall Raj’s voice echoed “Please come to the dining table for
dinner” & Anand was “shocked” to see that Raj was awake up till now &
to his surprise he found the food hot & was impressed by Raj’s service
& dinner was “super tasty” & he
replied “you are awesome, meal is better than a restaurant food” & in reply
she answered “If food is really very nice & tasty, then can you please sit
with your dad either in the morning at 9 am for breakfast or at night @9:30 pm
I don’t know why do you avoid him. Do you know whenever he comes to have meal
he stares at the seat beside him & then he starts eating his meal, so for
who he waits can be easily understood… Anand replied “Okay! I will try but I
don’t promise…” Mr. Vijay was hiding & was listening every word of their
conversation & when Anand walked towards his room…he also walked along with
him for the 1st time & then Anand asked him “Dad you are awake
till so late at night…” & then he replied “What’s new in this I have became
habituated to all this, only difference is that before there was no one who
cared for us & now we have Raj who cares for us…” This incident had a deep
impact on Anand’s mind & heart…
In the morning Anand woke up at
8:30 am & was at the dining table @ 8:50 am & Vijay arrived @ 9 am
sharp & was taken a back both with surprise & shock to see Anand at
breakfast & asked in a happy mood “Shyamali aaj suraj kidhar se nikla?”
& she replied “Sir ! roz to purab se nikalta hai…aaj shayad paschim se
nikla tabhi to Anand baba aaj subah hi breakfast karne aa gaye…woh bhi 10
minute pehle” & then he asked “Raj kahan hai?” & Raj replied while
coming to them “”Main yahhan hoon aap dono ke breakfast ke saath hazir hoon aap
ki seva mein” & then both had their breakfast together & while Vijay
was about to leave, Raj asked “Dad lunch karne kitne baje aayenge aap? Main
aapka intezaar karunga…” This brought tears in his eyes & Vijay replied
“Aaj tak kabhi nahi aaya tha…par aaj zaroor aaoonga theek dopahar 1 baje” &
then he left for his shop & this is what brought tears in eyes of Shyamali
also, as she had always seen Anand as “careless” guy since past 10 years but
Raj has brought this change within a day & then she called Raj up to her
& Raj said “Kya Hua Di?” & she blessed her “Sada khush raho…Jesus tumko
bless karey my child, jo kaam main nahi kar saki who tumne kar dikhaya…god
bless you…”
Then at 1 o’clock Vijay was on the
dining table with Anand & both of them had great time having food together
& then Anand said “Dad I will be at home exactly at 9:15 pm & now
within next 2 hrs I am going out with my friends, actually I am going to see
matinee show with them & then we will have some snacks in a restaurant in
the evening & finally I will return home & then Vijay said “Have I ever
asked you where do you go & when will you return?” to which Anand replied
“But it’s my duty to inform you”, “Okay Dear I take back my words” Vijay said
smiling.
So that night both father &
son had dinner tonight & Raj went home @10 pm & this routine continued
for next 20 days on 21st day Anand said, “Dad! What do you think
should I start coming to shop from next month onwards” Vijay was very happy to
hear these words, so he replied “Of course! Why not, but tell me how did this
idea came into your mind?” to which Anand said “I stay home up to 2:30 pm &
we meet on breakfast & lunch & I am tired of just wandering here &
there with my friends in the city & areas nearby city, so I just want to
settle down at one place now & moreover, I was thinking that I should gift
a smart phone to Raj…what do you think?” Vijay said, “You are right…I was also
thinking in the same way…our every servant has smart phone so why not Raj. Next
month she will complete a month with us & on this occasion with salary we
will gift her a smart phone?”
On the 31st day of her
employment exactly @ 9am Vijay gifted a smart phone to Raj & a monthly
salary for Rs.6,000/- & Raj was
overwhelmed with emotions as tears filled her eyes as this was her “first
salary” & when Anand handed over a new Samsung smart phone was she was
quick to respond “Sir! What was the need of this?” this time Anand replied
“It’s very important in today’s era, see you also have women’s safety app
installed on this smart phone & it will really help you at the time you
need it the most. Moreover, I will teach you how to use it. Nothing to worry at
all…& moreover, our entire staff has a smart phone & you are not an
exception, so you should also have it” & then he took out her SIM card from
old phone & placed it in new phone.
So from that day onwards her smart
phone coaching classes commenced from 1:30 pm to 3 pm post-lunch as after
Vijay’s departure to shop Anand was teaching her how to use it & this
routine continued till next 7 days & on 8th day she took mobile
internet connection on her smart phone…& today Anand installed “What’s App”
app pn her cell & was teaching her how to use this app & suddenly Anand
fell down from a sofa & Raj fell on him & due to some intimate moments
they both got indulged in “lip lock” activity for the 1st time &
after this Raj ran away from Anand’s room in a happy mood. After this incident,
Anand & Raj became good friends, or you can say more than good friends as
now it became Raj’s practice to enter Anand’s room at 1:30 pm & come out
@3:00pm & sometimes they even got “physical”, I mean to say that they had
broken away all the barriers of shame, honor & decency, with one another
& one day Shyamali was passing by Anand’s room & she overheard
something perhaps both of them were indulging in “physical activity” as Anand
was saying “Bas ek aur kiss…lambi wali…” & Raj was laughing & stopping
him.
That evening, Shyamali had warned
Raj “I know whatever is happening between you & Anand & before it’s too
late…you have to pull back your legs…because we are on the earth & they are
our masters & are on the sky & to be honest & practical earth &
sky can never meet” to which Raj had replied “Thank you for your concern &
advise Di, but I will make them meet & our love is true love & not
physical love as you are thinking” to which Shyamali had replied “I hope so my
child…may Jesus bless you & your true love…”
So as per his words to Vijay Anand
joined Vijay at shop from 1st Feb & Vijay was happy that Anand
has started to take interest in family business & that he was coming on the
right track, but it was no secret to Vijay also as one day Raj called Anand at
shop & Anand was not near his cell & it was Vijay who had picked up the
call & not Anand & as Raj was in hurry as she had called Anand to
inform him that “I am pregnant”, howver, he managed the call & changed his
voice, whatsoever, & requested Raj “not to disclose this fact to anyone”,
later after sometime when Anand returned he asked was everything okay between
him & Raj & Anand replied “Ya dad everything is okay, you just chill”.
That evening, Vijay came home
early at 5 pm & asked Raj about the relationship between her & Anand
& Raj was very honest to disclose the truth & the only truth to him
& also showed some of the “intimate videos” of both of them which she had
recorded on her cell phone & all this happened in the presence of Shyamali
& when Vijay asked Shyamali about all this she agreed to all this &
also supported Raj. Now Raj, Shyamali & Vijay decided to wait for Anand’s
arrival & they planned that Raj should talk to Anand about afternoon’s call
& she should talk as if she had talked to him & not Vijay & see
what Anand says but the twist of the tale was that Vijay will record their
entire conversation on his cell phone & Vijay will also record it on Raj’s
cell phone…
So as per plan they worked, but
Anand reacted as if he had himself talked to her & in his arrogance he
uttered these words “You are just a use & throw particle for me because if
I will marry you then I will have to marry girls like Sheena, Reena, Rita,
Amita & so on…for me every girl is no more than a ‘use & throw’ thing
because I am Anand…son of the biggest paint merchant of this city & I have
every right to enjoy the various luxeries of life & you simply a maid, what
harm can you cause me…so you just get awy from my sight & my life…” &
then Anand went out of home uttering these words “She spoiled my entire
mood…now again I need to have a glass of
chilled beer…Dad I am going outside & will return home past mid-night…”
Now this shocked Raj, Shyamali
& Vijay he was hurt the most & then he blamed himself for this attiude
& life style of his son because it was him who was watching every activity
of his son but he never passed two moments of love & caring with Anand, he
kept waiting for Aanand all night all these
years but never let him know this
fact…had he entered his room at 3am or 3:30 am or 4 am early in the morning
then it would have had desired impact on Anand’s life had he interrupted or
asked Anand then this day would not have
arrived in his life…Vijay just went to his room & was in all tears like
Shyamali & Raj…
After 10 minutes Vijay came dwon
& found Shyamali & Raj crying & consoling each other & then he
uttered at the top of his voice…“Come on Raj we are going to police station to
lodge a FIR aginst Anand, I will myself file a complaint against my son because
I want to bring justice to you, you are a noble soul, its you who has loved
Anand & its my son Anand who has betrayed you & its my duty to put all
things right if I have put them wrong” but considering the sensitivity of the
situation Raj told & requested Vijay “Sir! I am already 5 & a ½ months pregnant & I have already consulted
Dr. (Mrs.) Rajeshwari Verma & she
has already told me that there are complications in my pregnancy only child can
be saved as I am already very weak so I do have very less time left in my life
& I don’t want Anand to know about this. I want him to repent for me for
life with my child in his arms & my life less body lying in front of him. I
have no personal grudge against him or against you & I am not scared of my
death, even my dad Amar knows about all this but I honor you more than I honor
myself & in these 9 months wich I have passed with you are most precious
& memorable moments of my life, so I am doing this just for you & if
you will permit can I call you “Papa” as I call my dad “Baba”.” Vijay was so
overwhelmed with emotions that he was just staring at her even moving his
“eyelids” & then he said “Yes why not my child you are my daughter &
over these past 9 months you have taken care of all of us not like a daughter
but like a mother & you have surrendered everything you had for the honor
of Kumar Family & just on the belive that I am always there to save you
& indeed I will fulfill your last wish its better to give Anand a pain of
life time than just few days pain in the police lockup. Okay! I will take you
& Amar to my farm house in Pune & there you will give birth to a child
who will be known as the successor of Kumar Family, but if I am fulfilling yout
wish then you too will have to fulfill my wish you will depart from this world
as daughter-in-law of Vijay Ratan Kumar & wife of Anand Vijay Kumar in case you did not return to this home
& if God showered His blessings on you my dear daughter then you will
return to this home as daughter-in-law of Vijay Ratan Kumar & wife of Anand
Vijay Kumar. Is that fine with you” & then they both cried & hugged
each other, moreover, Shyamali was also conquered with emotions & she also
hugged both of them.
Next morning @ 8 Raj arrived at
“Vijay Garden” with Amar & as per their plan Vijay took all of them to his
farm house at Pune in his own car & there he arranged for all medical aid
& equipmsnts & Dr. (Mrs.) Rajeshwari Verma for Raj by 12 noon &
then he left for his home at 5 pm but he
promised that he will be arrange for Shyamali’s livig here within next few days
because Shyamali was more like a elder sister to Raj than a senior maid of his
home & that he will himself shift here within next 15 days & let Anand
leave alone there in “Vijay Garden”.
Next day he asked Shyamali (while
no one was at home) to call her sister Anandi here from village as she has been
here previously about an year ago & while she was ill it was Anandi who had
managed the affairs of the entire house so why not call her for this short
period of 3-4 months, she will take better care of Anand & now that I have
lost my son so there’s no point in making him tied to a rope pf responsibility
& on top of all this, Anand is managing the affairs of the shop in a very
good maner so let it be as its is now…we will tell him the real truth during
the final moments of Raj, let’s see what God has in store for us…& Shyamali
said “Okay I will call her & she will be here by tomorrow afternoon & I
will be there by day after tomorrow’s afternoon, you have put it right Sir”.
Then Vijay said seeing Shyamali, she was almost 55yrs of age by now, “Aaj mujhe
samajh mein aaya ki Veena, Anand Ki Maa, ne mujhse apni zindagi aakhri dino
mein yeh vaada kyun liya tha ke uske baad main tumse shaadi karlun to us ekoi
bhi dukh ya pachtawa nahin hoga meri dusri shaadi ka…shayad usne tumhari ankhon
mein mere liye who pyaar dekh liya tha
jo shayad main nahin dekh paya…” & then he placed his both hands on
Shyamali’s cheeks & saw the tears of love & joy in her eyes &
embraced her in his arms & uttered these words “Par main ab umar ke aakhri
padav mein pahuch chukka hoon…pata nahin kab…par phir bhi main itne salon paise
ke peeche bhagta raha aur tum Anand ko sambhalti rahi ek maa ki tarah kabhi
mujhse ya anand se kuch nahin kahana hi kuch kabhi manga…aur maine tumhari
zindagi kharab kar di…aur apne bête ko bhi kho diya…par ab aur nahi…main aaj hi
aur abhi tumse shaadi karunga aur tumko is ghar ki malkin banaoonga…kyat um mujhse
shaadi karogi?” & in reply Shyamali said crying & embracing Vijay with
all her strength “Haan Karungi Vijay…jaane kab se yeh shabd sun ne ke liye main
intezaar kar rahi thi…aaj main Veena ko shukriya ada karna chahoongi usne mere
pyaar se mujhe mila diya…chahe ek zamana guzar gaya…”
& then they both went to near
by Mata Viashno Devi Temple & married each other & the 1st
thing which Vijay did was took their selfie & send it to Anand on “What’s
App” saying “Maine Aur Shyamali Ne Shaadi Kar Li Hai..Aur Ab Woh Tumhari Maa
Aur Hamare Ghar Ki Malkin Hai…Ummed Hai Tum Uski Izzat Waise Hi Karogi Jaise
Tum Veena Ki Karte They Aur Yeh Veena Ki Akhri Iccha Thi Ki Agar Main Dusri
Shaadi Karun To Shyamali Se Hi Karun To Use Meri Shaadi Ka Dukh Nahin Hoga”,
& also called Anandi & told her about recent developments &
finished his lines with “To ab tum hamar ghar ki adhi gharwali ho aur kal se
tumhein hi ghar sambhalna hai...main aur
Shyamali parson se Pune hamare farm house pe shift ho rahen hain…hope you will
understand…” & in reply Anandi replied, “Jo hukaum mere jiju..kal main
samay par aa jaoongi…baki baatein kal hongi ghar par…”.
He had just disconnected the
phone, Anand rang him up & said “Congratulations Dad! Maa kahan hai…aapke
saath hai naa…baat karwayenge…acha main aap ko kab se phone kar raha tha…kis se
baat kar rahe they aap?” Vijay replied “Woh main Anandi se baat kar raha
tha…kal dopahar ko woh ghar aa rahi hai… aur main aur Shyamali Pune shift ho
rahe hain..keh sakte ho ki is umar bhi hum “honey moon” manana chahte hain…”
& Anand was quick to react, “Vow…that’s awesome…aap dono ne sabit kar diya
ki pyaar umar nahi dil dekhta hai…love you both…Acha maa se baat karvaiye…”
& then Vijay handed over the cell to Shyamali & Anand
said,“Congratulations Maa…wish you both a very happy married life…I am very
happy for both of you” & from this side it was not Shyamali, the maid but
today it was her mother & owner of “Vijay Garden” & she made Anand
realize it when she said thse words “Thank you for your best wishes my son
…that’s very kind & nice of you to have accepted our decision..I was bit
hesitant because I was in two minds as to how will you react to all this &
will you respect our decision or not? Okay rest at home…see you soon…”&
Anand replied at the top of his voice, “Today there will be a grand party at
home exactly @ 8 pm let the whole city know that I have got my lost mother
today…” & Shyamali replied “Okay as you wish…do whatever you want to…we are
with you always…”
Then she informed Vijay that Anand
wants to give a grand party in the evening celebrating our marriage & Vijay
replied in pride, “That’s what is needed from our son Mrs. Shyamali Vijay
Kumar…that’s our son…” In the evening there was grand party & all the big
guns of the city were presnt to rejoice in their happiness & than at 12:30
am Anand took out his anger on both of them clapping hands & shouting at
the top od his voice “Wah Mom Dad Wah! Shaadi kar li aur mujhe What’s App pe ek
selfie bhej di, mujhe bulane ki bhi zaroorat nahi samjhi…,” & then Shyamail
replied “Anand tum apne kamre mein jao upar, abhi tumne pee rakhi hai…aur isi
baat ka mujhe shaq tha…aur tumne ise sach kar diya…aur ek baat yaad rakhna ab
se main tumhari maa hooon…you have to obey me” & Anand replied “Obey you,
kal ki maod aur aaj ki maa, kya jadu kiya mere baap par” & now Vijay came
out of his room & scolded Anand, “Haan Shyamali ne jadu kiya hai mujh
pe…aur yeh pyaar ka jadu hai…husn ka nahi…tumhari tarah nahi jo hare k ladki ko
‘use & throw’ particle smajahta ho…apni puri umar laga di usne him dodno ki
sewa mein…aur maine tiumse yeh pehli hi kaha hai Shyamali se shaadi karke maine
Veena ki akhri iccha ko pura kiya hai…jo woh chahto thi...apni zindagi ke akhri
dino mein… Aura b tum ek baat kaan khol ke sun lo kal subah Anandi yahan aa
rahi hai...uski izzat apni Mausi ki tarah karna main janta hoon woh tumse umar
mein sirf 3 saal badi hai…par ohde mein woh tumse bahut badi hai…uski izzat
karn aur uske saath koi aisi waise harkat mat karna…aur ek baat sun lo Shyamali
ka is ghar par aur meri property par
utna hi haq hai jitna ki tumhara hai, balki us se bhi zyada…aur parso se tumhi
ko shop smbhalni hai kyunki hum dono yahan nahi honge…aur is baat ko tum ache
se apni dil aur dimaag mein hamesha ke liye bitha lo ke ab Shyamali tumhari maa
hai aur is ghar ki malkin bhi…aao Shyamali rehne do ise akele apne akal thikane
pea aajayegi…” & they climbed up the stairs of their room.
In the morning when they woke up they
found a “Sorry” Card in their room to their surprise, it was from Anand &
after having their shower they were even more surprised to see that break fast
(bread, butter & tea) was ready & all this was done by Anand. Well on
their arrival at dinning table Anand touched their feet & apologized for
his behave yesterday night & on this happy note Anandi also arrived at home
with a rose banquet “Didi aur Jija ji ko shaadi ki shubh kamnayein...” &
they all had break fast & then Vijay & Anand left for shop &
Shyamali took Anandi to her room & narated the entire story of their life
(including Raj) to her & this brought tears in her eyes “& I was
rejoicing at all this, its Raj who has suffered a lot & now she’s going
away from us in just next few months & we can not do anything…except just
wait & watch…” to which Shyamali replied “This is life dear & guess
what Anand does not knows about all this & this fact has been hidden from
him on Raj’s request because he’s her criminal & this is the punishment
which hse has decided to give him & we must respect her decision & ful
fill her last wish…get prepared we have to hide this from Anand...it’s already
12 noon & I have to prepare Lunch for both father & son…” & they
both cleaned their faces with water & went up to Kitchen.
Vijay & Anand arrived on time
for lunch & hen left early as Vijay had to complete all the documenatation related
to shop’s work as Anand had to look after both home & shop for next few
months & he was under impression that his parents are going to Pune to
celebrate their “Honey Moon” but the fact was very dark & cruel.
At night Vijay & Shyamali wept
for a long time in their room & nexat day early morning @5 they left for
Pune for they could not sllep whole
night giving all the necessary instructions to Anandi that night. When Anand
woke up,
Anandi informed him that they have ledt for Pune early morning.
At 9 am they arrived at Pune’s
farm house & Vijay introduced Shyamali to Raj as her mother & his newly wedded wife
& raj was very happy to know ths & she hugged her saying “Maa …” &
then told Vijay “Papa aaj aapne mera parivaar pura kardiya…aap, maa, baba ab mujhe
koi darr nahi aur koi gham nahi…jane kaa…” then Vijay went to meet Dr. (Mrs.) Rajeshwari Verma as she used to
visit his farm house at 12 noon & at 9 pm in the night & was constantly
in touch with the medical team which was attending Raj & it was not that
Raj was asked to take bed rest only & was bed sick, she could move in the
farm house wherever she wanted but one nurse was always with her & she was
being attended by a team of 5 nurses 24x7. She told him that over the last few
days Raj’s health has definitely improved but the main complication was the
placement of the child in her womb & she showed the x-ray report & the
child’s position was bit complicated & it was such that either of the two
could be saved & Raj had already instructed her that if her life is in
danger then her child’d life should be saved at any cost. So it was 50:50
chance with Raj’s life, & the equation was 80:20 with child’s life because
Dr. always tries to save the young ones first & mother’s life comes secondary
& that it is also Raj’s wish that child’s life should be saved & not
her.
On reaching home, everyone
approached him & he replied “chances are 50:50” & then he went to Raj’s
room & gave her few fruits which he had brought for her & Raj said
smiling, “Papa, you are lying to me, you had gone to meet the doctor & she
must have told you that chances are 50:50, you know you don’t know the art of
lying…it can be easily understood from your face...” & Vijay tried to
change the topic by saying “let’s forget all this, when that moment will come
we will face it why worry about something which has not yet happened, we will
see when it will happen, today evening we are going to have a blast here as I
am giving a small party to celebrate our marriage so let’s enjoy…”
In the evening, thay all enjoyed
the party & then at night when she & Shyamali were together she asked
her “Is it reality that you both of married each other is it just that for my
happiness you are doing acting in front of me” & then Shyamali replied “I
knew that you will post this question to
me & my answer is this…” & she forwarded her cell phone in which she
had done the cideo recording of their marraiage at Temple & when Raj saw
that video with her eyes, Vijay entered the room & kissed Shyamali on her
foreheaf while saying “& this is the second & love proof of our marriage,
so my dear daughter if you will give us permission can this newly wed groom
take his bride in her room” & Raj nodded her head in “Yes” in ahappy mood.
When Shyamali entered the room it
was decorated as if they were a newly wed couple & she asked Vijay while
shying “Yeh sab kya hai Vijay?” & he replied in a romantic mood “hamari
suhaag raat ki taiyari…arey bhai…ghar pe Anand ne mera mood bigad diya, par
hamari beti ne to hamein izzazat de di hai….to kyun na celebrate kiya jaie”,
while Shyamali was trying to resist him by saying “Is umar mein suhaag raat
maneynge…apni umar to dkehiye”but Vijay replied “Auron ke liye tum Mrs.
Shyamali Vijay Kumar ho par mere liye tum sirf Shyama ho…meri Shyama…jise main
bahaut chahta hoon aur rahi baat Veena ki to isne to hamare eishtey ko bahut
pehle hi manzoori de di thi...woh jahan bhi hogi yeh sab sekhkar bahut khush hp
rahi hogi…please meri bahon mein aajao Shyama…” & then Shyamali surrendered
hesrself in Vijay’s arms & after almost a long gap of 15 years since
Veena’s departure from Vijay’s life he has experienced this re-union of love
& Shyamali was all his at that moment of time as she was experiencing this
for the 1st time in her life, so she did not stopped him, it was a
pleasant & happy experience for her.
Next day when she woke up @5 she
was bit ashamed of herself, but she went to have a shower & did her daily
worship before Jesus & entered room with a cup of tea & wet hairs for
Vijay & he was all ready to welcome her with a kiss on her forehed when she
bowed to offer him a “bed tea” as he said “Haan aaj hum bed tea to piyenge aur
woh bhi apni Shyama Ke saath, par pehle ek ache bache ki tarah brush karenge”
& was back iwithin 5 minutes for tea& then she asked him “Kya kaha
doctor nne Raj ke bare dekhiye mujh se kuch bhi chuapye mat” & then he
narrated whatever Dr. (Mrs.) Rajeshwari Verma had told her word by word to
which Shyamali replied “Iska matlab haum kuch nahi kar sakte sivay iske ke Raaj
ko apni ankhon ke samne jaate hue dekhey” to which Vijay replied “Haan philhaal
to hallat kuch aisa hi ishara kar rahen hain par ek baat yaad rakhna humein Raj
ko zyada se zyada khush rakhna hai...woh jitney bhi din hamare paas hai...khush
rahe chahe uske liye mujhe kuch bhi kyun na karna parhe…ab se har 2-3 dino mein
koi koi koi celebration hogi yahaan…doctor ne bhi kaha hai woh jitni khush rahe
utna acha hoga…shayad use jana parhega…”
Next 3 & ½ months passed in
all this here while nand was all alone at Nasik looking after affairs of the
shop & home, Anandi was helping him to manage home affairs & Vijay used
to come to Nasik only when there was absolute necessity of his presence &
was spending all his time at Pune.
One Anand
asked Anandi at the top of is voice “Yeh sab kab tak chalega…picle 3½ mahino se dad & maa Pune nmein honeymoon
mana rahe hain aur main yahaan akela parh gaya hoon…koi mujhe smajahta hi nahi,
meri baat nahi sunta yeh sab kya ho raha hai… akhir aisa kya hai Pune mein jo
yahaan nahi hai…” & then Anandi replied to him rudely “Wahaan Raj hai, Raj
yaad hai na tumhe jise tumne lagbhag 3½
maine pehle kahan tha ke ‘you are just a use & throw particle for me’ aur
woh ab apni maut ke bahut kareeb pahuch chuki hai…woh tumhare bache ki maa
bannewali hai aur jante ho…tumhara bacha uski jaan lelega, par phir bhi is
bache ko janam dena chahti hai kyunki yehi sazaa usne khud tumhare liye tai ke
hai...tumhare ek haath main tumhara baccha hoga uar dusre haath mein Raj ki laash...woh
tumko zindagi bhar ka dard dena chahati hai…Jija ji to tumhien police ke hawale
karna chahte they par usne unko mana kar diya...aur yehi sazaa sunaiye hai usne
tumhare liye & I am proud of her…aur parson uski delivery hai...uske paas
samay bahut bahut kam hai…agar tum me zara si bhi insaniyat baki hai ya uske
liye dil mein zara bhi pyaar hai to kal subah jaakar uski mang mein sindoor
bhar dena…aur dekho bhagwan ka insaaf jaisa baap waisa hoga uske bachcha, apni
maa ko ‘use & throw’ karnewala/karnewali…jao Anand jao…she has left with
very less time…”
Next
morning Anand & Anandi left for Pune early @5 in Anand’s car & within few
hours they were at Pune’s farm house with a new Red Saree for Raj & a pack
of vermillion (Sindoor). The 1st thing which Anand did on reaching
there was that he fell on Raj’s feet & pledged before her for an apology
although Raj had no personal grudge gainst him & she forgave her but she
also hugged Anand tightly for the 1st time after such a long time
& Anand filled her head with a vermillion (Sindoor) & with red
vermillion on her head she was looking very beautiful & today while she was
in Anand’s arms she admitted this “I don’t want to die Anand, I don’t want to
die, I had a longing (& it was also my last wish) to see you personally
& now that you have came upto me & apologized to me for no mistake of
yours as this schild is the mark & reward of our true love but see he/she
is going to calim my life when he/she will come to this world & most probably
I am alove for next 24-48 hrs, I don’t want to die Anand…please save me…save my
life…I want to live & see my child grow in our arms & before our eyes…”
& Anand kept on saying repeatedly “Don’t worry! I am back, nothing will
happen to you...I will take care of everything…”
Then when
Anand entered another room, he saw Vijay was charging Anandi for disclosing the
truth to Anand & Anand replied “I am very much thankful to mausi for
telling me the truth at least she made us meet even during the final hours of Raj’s
life & Dad & Mama why did you hide such a big secret from me…well, let’s
firget all this, Dad what has doctor said?” to which Vijay replied “She has
said that Raj may survive few more hours post delivery & it may happen that
she may even see her child but will not be lucky enough to feed her kid…she has
very less time because although she has gained some weight but my dear son she’s
going & she has to go…chances are very dismal…all that we can do is that
keep her happy as long as she’s with us & in front ofour eyes because once
she’s in OT, chances are very less that she will come alive out of it…” &
he started crying on Anand’s shoulders & both father & son were
consoling each other…
In the
evening, the entire Kumar family organized a small get together & they
showed all the “intimate videos” which Raj had receorded on her cell phone
& also few romantic Hindi songs on huge LCD Screen in the lawn of the farm
house & while all this was happening suddenly at 10 o’clock at night labor
pain started to Raj & they rushed her hospital & Dr (Mrs.) Rajeshwari Verma
also came there & then after almost 1 & ½ hours of wait Raj came out of
the OT, unconscious but breathing with Oxygen cylinder on her face & she
had given birth to a new girl as was informed by Dr herself but she also
apologized that she could not save her & perhaps Raj is alive because of
her will power & also perhaps because she wants to name her kid…she will
hardly survive 3-4 hours more & this is the will of God & we have to respect
& accept this fact. “All the best Mr. Anand…” is all she could say with a
neck filed with emotions because in all her practicing career she had never
seen a patient like Raj who accepted & invited her demise with a smile on her
face & that during the delivery also there was no trace of struggle on er
face & its perhaps that she has accepted God’s verdict & now that she
wants us to accept this…
Around 3am
of early morning, Raj woke up while Anand was there by her side holding her
hand tightly & with a slight movement of Raj he also opened his eyes &
Raj removed the oxygen mask from her face & called Anand, “Hamara bacha
kahan hai? Jaldi karo mere paas samay bahut kam hai, mujhe uska naam rakhna hai…”
& Anand brought the kid immediately as nurse was also there in the cabin
& he said “Dekho Raj hamein beti huyee hai…ekdum tumhare jaisi..iska naam kya
rakhna chahogi tum…” & Raj could utter only these words in breaking voice “Rajnandani…”
& was about to bless her but her heart beat stopped & her breath was
broken & she was gone & her punishment became the biggest truth of
Anand’s life…She came to this world as Raj & left this world as Mrs. Raj
Anand Kumar with Rajnandani in Anand’s one hand & her life less body in his
second hand…
