Sometimes love gives you second chance
Love, such a powerful,
known & yet a strange feeling…love…its love that has kept the entire
universe linked with each other, if love would not have been there, then it
would have been very difficult for all living organisms to survive, its love 7
mere love that from 1st pair of Manu & Shraddha, as per Hindu
Mythology, we have came thus far to the age of internet, smart phones, tablets,
computers & so on…
Well we were talking
of love, well it’s very strange & unpredictable it can happen to anyone at
any point of time & our today’s story is about a village boy, how he goes
to Delhi to do his graduation & returns home to help his dad with his bride
but in between this he experiences love…sheer love & only love…fails love
& how circumstances unfold for that we will need to travel with him…
Saurav, a boy from
small village of Ghaziabad, came to Delhi for his graduation in Commerce &
this was his last year in his college , although he was excellent student as he
always stood 1st in the class & was good in writing manageable English,
but he had problem is English speaking s you all know that English is a “classy” language & if you
don’t know how to speak English then you will find it bit “difficult” in today’s
world to excel in life…& this was that weakness of which he was very
cautious & he wanted to overcome it anyhow but he did not had any good
guide to show him the way…
Well today was the
final of inter-college football tournament & both the teams were playing
& then Saurav hit stroke & the ball struck on the knee of girl sitting in the audience & her name
was Aiyesha. She was a pretty girl with fair complexion & wide black eyes
& for few moments Saurav was taken a back as he was just staring her &
on that day she was wearing blue jeans with white shirt & her hairs were
spread over her shoulders & was talking to her friends…
She also noticed
Saurav & their eyes met with each other & then play resumed & the
match was decided by penalty shootout & Saurav’s college won. After the
match, Saurav searched for Aiyesha & said sorry to her, to which Aiyesha replied
“Jeet gaye isliye maaf karti hoon…haar jaate to kabhi nahin karti…” & Saurav
was quick to en cash the opportunity & he extended his hand towards her
& said “Friends…” & Aiyesha liked this style of his & shook hand
with him saying “Friends…”
Aiyesha & Saurav
were classmates & they knew each other but never met or familiarize with
each other as Aiyesha was also a topper among girls & she knew the
fact that Saurav was not so good at English speaking & somewhere down the
heart she too had a “soft corner” for him because Saurav was also a brilliant
student & she knew that if he was given proper guidance & opportunity
to groom he would “bounce back with a bang”…so now that they were familiar with
each other…slowly slowly they began to talk with each other & Aiyesha was
used to using more English words during her conversation as compared to Saurav
& in her company Saurav also began to feel “free & happy” & also he
learnt many English words…
Overtime he began to
realize that he has started to like her a lot & that this like is getting
converted into love & this was firsts noticed by his roommate & friend
Amit as now a days he has began to write poems in the name & memory of
Aiyesha late night after completing his studies & due to this habit of his Amit
could not sleep as kept his study lamp on…Amit encouraged him & also helped
him to prepare a short speech in English to impress Aiyesha & today he had
prepared it with complete & very good pronunciation practice as he was up
all night practicising the speech all night…
But as you know love, life
& luck are very unpredictable anything can happen anytime…same thing happened
with Saurav today as he entered the college canteen searching for Aiyesha
during the lunch time…he saw that Aiyesha was smiling & talking to a smart
boy who was wearing brown Ray-ban goggles, T-shirt & jeans & had a
guitar in his hands & was playing the music of Aiyesh’a favorite song “Tum
Dil Ki Dhadkan Mein…” he went up to them with heavy heart & steps & as
soon as he approached them Aiyesha introduced him to Rohan her close friend
from Mumbai, who was a rock star & had came to Delhi for a musical show
tomorrow night. Saurav was obviously not pleased to see him alongside Aiyesha
& that night he could not sleep all night in this dilemma…
Next day also he saw
Aiyesha & Rohit together & was bit angry, then after the college they
all went to restaurant to have some “quality” time @ 4pm & they all had
coffee together but Saurav realized that Aiyesha was more attracted to nwrads
Rohan & he was just feeling like “fill in the blanks”…well, Rohan left
early as he was having a musical show tonight @8 & he had to prepare
himself…& then he told Aiyesha “dekho Aiyesha main tumse pyaar karta hoon
aur tumse shaadi karna chahta hoon…” but Aiyehs rejected his love straightaway
by saying “Tum aur mujhse pyaar…apni aukaat dekhi hai…sirf first aane se hi
nahi hota…tumhari apni class kya hai? English to theek se bol nahi paate aur
pyaar karte ho woh bhi mujhse…”
This hurt Saurav a lot
& as they were going into final exams within a month..he decided that now
he will show her his class & began to study day & night & Aiyesha
was “surprised” to see that he not even replied to her “good morning” wish
& was busy all time with book in his hand. Now she also did not care for
him as she felt “whatever he may do, he can never equal me?” & both of them
were in their own zone of attitude & when exams came & went they could
hardly realize….
Today was 10th
October, the day results were to be announced & Mr. D’Souza, college
principal, was very pleased to announce that “Saurav was the university topper
followed by Aiyesha as the 1st
runner-up & Amit as the 2nd runner-up & overall result was
that sent percent students had passed their commerce examination. So it was matter
of great pride & honor for the college & on this happy occasion he had
given a party in the evening…”
In the evening when
Mr. D’Souza requested Saurav to say a few words, he climbed up the dais &
said, “kuch mahine pehle mere bahut accche dost ne mujhse poocha tha “tumhari
apni class kya hai?” & this is my reply “this is my class” aur main kal
wapas jaa raha hoon apne pita ji ke pass Ghaziabad aur main ab college sirf apni marksheet aur
pass certificate hi lene aaonga…” & went away straightaway & did not
even attended the party.
Late night around
10:30 pm, Aiyesha visited his room to pledge for an apology, but he said “Aiyesha,
thank you tumne mujhe meri class ka ehsaas karaya, main tumse guss nahin hoon…par
haan mujhe bahut dukh hai ki tumne mere pyaar ki kadar nahi ki aur tum Rohan se
pyaar karti ho, cha hua tum khud aa gayee, tumse ek baar milna tha, so mil liya…aur
main janta hoon Rohan tumko bahut khush rakhega aur who har tarah se tumhare
layak bhi hai…after all woh Mumbai se jo hai…”
Aiyesha was listening
to him spell bound & then he gifted her a guitar saying that “maine yeh
guitar apne pocket money se apne liye kharidi thai par ab main ise tumhe gift
karta hoon, tumko guitar bajane ka bahut shauk hai na...aur waise bhi yeh guitar
hi ha jisne hum dono ko alag kiya hai…”
& then after he
was finished then Aiyesha started with tears in her eyes “Maine tumko galat
smajha main Rohan ki life style aur uske upari dekhawe se impress ho gayi thi…us
di maine jo galti ki uska ehsaas mujeh ab tak hai…insaan ki class uske kapdon
se…uske karmon se hoti hai,yeh ehsaas tumne mujhe karaya aura b tum mujhse door
jana chaahte ho kyunki main Rohan ko pasasn karti hoon, kyunki use guitar
bajana aata hai…damed can’t you see that I love you do you know…tumko
university mein top ho iskiliye maine
apne answers mein silly mistakes ki, jante hum dodno ke marks mein kitan farak
hai sirf 10 no aur yeh dus kadam maine tumhare ore dosti aur pyaar ke brhayein
hain kyunki us din show ke baad jab main Rohan se milne gayi to us raat usen
mujhse room mein jbadtameezi karne ki koshish ki…aur main whan se apni izzat
bacha kar anahut mushkil se aayi…maine tumko yeh baat batane ki bahut koshish
ki par tum mujhse itne guss ho gaye they ki mujhse baat karna to door mere chehra
tak nahi dekhne chahte they, phir nmaine Amit ko sab kuch bataya aur usne mujhe
yeh rasts sujaya..aur dkho aaj tumko university ki ore se Rs.1 lakh ka prize
mila hai…main tumko yeh cheque dene aayi thi…aur tum mujhe yeh guitar de kar
apni zindagi se jane ke liye keh rahe ho…you are very selfish…” & she began
to cry…
On seeing all this,
Saurav’s anger melted down like an ice cube & he embraced Aiyesha in her
arms saying “Sorry…I am very sorry…” & then he came out of his hostel room
& thanked Amit. Next morning, after taking blessings of Mr. D’Souza they
both left for Saurav’s village at Ghaziabad & on reaching his home he was
surprised to see Mr & Mrs. Mehra at his home & his dad Mr. Manish was
very happy to see them & know about the entire love story of their kids
& he welcomed both of them with open heart & spread arms, when Saurav
asked Aiyesha about all this she told him “Maine mummy papa ko sab bata diya
tha aur who hum se pehle by air tumhare ghar pahuch gaye aur unhone tumhare dad
ko sab bata diya” & then Saurav laughed it out at the whole matter saying
that “Aur In sab mein main ban gaya…lovely Aiyesha..tumne mujhe sambhal liya…main
bahut kismat wala hoon ki mujhe tum mili…”
Then they got married
& Saurav invested his prize money in introducing new irrigational
techniques & equipments in harvesting & this gave them good yield year
after year & over time Aiyesha also made Saurav good in English speaking
also & now he could also speak English very well & was a proud father
of 2 year old daughter…
So you can see that
love sometimes gives you second chance & if love, luck & life gives you
second chance please don’t let it go so easily, grab that opportunity with both
hands because there are very few people among us who get to experience true
love in their lives & if you get true love then please don’t let it go because
true love comes very rare…so on this valentine’s day take care & spread
love around you who knows that your love might be waiting for you with red rose
in his/her hand only for you…so go have
the blast…May no one be alone on this day of love on this earth…may all of you
find your hert mates as soon as possible…God bless…
