My
dear friends, followers & well wishers,
My
last story had a sad climax & it was so sad that it’s hangover had so
immense effect on me that even I was also very upset for 2-3 days & I was
not in that mental frame of mind to pen
down another 15+ days to sit down &
write this lovely story of small family in which you have lovely relationship,
trust, passion, care, concern, companionship & on top of it an untold &
silent story of sacrifice by younger sister for her elder sister & did you
know who showed her way to give this optimum sacrifice her father.
Do
you recently I posted a tweet on my twitter handle where I broke the word LOVE
to:-

But
had forgotten that LOVE also stands for:-
L - Lovely & Silent Sacrifice
O - Of
V - Valentine’s Love for
E - Eminent & dear people in our life
Actually
I have also chosen the second version of love & silently & quietly
moved out of the way of my true love whom I have lost in this birth for her
happiness but I am happy on the fact that she’s happy in her personal,
professional & family life & in today’s context I am happy in her
happiness & I do pray for her happiness before God all times. Please do
remember that names & locations have been changed to preserve secrecy.
Well
a lot has been said about LOVE & now it’s time to take you to the lovely
& cute little world of Sahay Family which is honored by the gracious presence of Amit
Sahay, his daughters Bani Sahay & Anya Sahay (of which Bani is the elder
sister) & spiritual presence of their mother Anita Sahay as she’s
physically no more but Mr. Amit Sahay has never felt that ever his wife was
away from him today even after 20 years of her passing away & the age gap between
2 daughters is 5 years & suddenly after Anita’s death Bani assumed the role
of Anya’s mother as she was 10 years old at the time of her demise & she
took very good care of not even her sister but also her father & entire house
hold affairs & on top of it she was on the verge of completing MBA as she
was awaiting her final result of MBA & hardly 2-3 months time was left. In
other words, you can say that she was home at this moment of time. Name of
their triple storied home was “Sahay Mansion”.
But
today on Monday 11th March 2013, she was super - excited because
today was Anya’s first day in college & she wanted to send Anya to college in
a special attire which she had herself selected for her (& it was
self-stitched white colored matching hair band,
along with white colored half – shirt & a black colored skirt) so
she woke up @ 5 in the morning, did her usual morning prayers, made breakfast,
woke up her dad @6 & then went to Anya’s room at 6:30 am to wake her up as
her college time was 8 am & off time was 4 pm.
Anya
was very hesitant & reluctant to go to college but Bani woke her up saying
that today was her 1st day in college & that she has to take dad
& mother’s blessings before leaving & on top of it she will herself go
to drop & pick her up in Dad’s car today as her Dad had done on her 1st
day in college. So get up, listening this Anya got up within few seconds &
got ready by 7 & then both the sisters went to Amit’s room he was standing
in front of Anita’s picture & saying to her, ”Anita you never know how time
passes by it feels today as it’s thing of yesterday when you had came to our
family as a daughter-in-law, became my lovely & heartily wedded wife,
gifted me with two beautiful daughters, then passed away after few years &
see today our younger daughter Anya has became a collegiate & today is her
1st day in college & do you know what Bani has said to me she
has told me that she will herself go to drop & pick up Anya on her 1st
day in college as I had done on her 1st day of college, so I do
request to pass on all your blessings to our sweet little daughter Anya today
as she’s stepping into new phase of life & what can be said how Bani has
looked after both of us not only as daughter but also as our mother I don’t
know from where has she incorporated so much of maturity in her personality
after you, but she has been the back bone of shay family always. I don’t know
what will happen & how we both will manage once she gets married?”
At
this moment Anya interrupted her dad saying “Dad no more getting emotional,
whenever you talk to mom you always becomes sentimental, today is my 1st
day in college. Mom bless me, our dad has gone crazy he always becomes
emotional whenever he talks to you, I have always told him to remember you with
a smile on his face, but he doesn’t know what is smile? Well, it’s already 7:20
I am getting late, let’s have a breakfast.”
So
they went to dining table & had a breakfast which contained curd &
Potato Parathas , a healthy & heavy breakfast to which Anya objected by
saying that she will gain weight & Bani replied by saying “It’s wise to
have heavy breakfast in the morning
& this will keep you up till noon, Well in your Tiffin I have already
prepared Vegetable Chowmin & hope you will enjoy it & this is your
extra pocket money as I don’t want you
to be hungry at any cost because unhealthy body leads to unhealthy mind, so be
careful & don’t get friendly with new colleagues & stay away from boys,
like me.”
To
this Anya was quick to react & said “Okay Mom! Any other instructions from
your side for the day” & Bani hugged her in reply. By 7:55 am she dropped
Anya at college & was back home. On her return to home, Amit had himself
prepared Corn flakes for her & offered her the same as breakfast & this
surprised Bani to which Amit replied “See I know to drop Anya to college on
time you ate only one Potato Paratha & I know that you are still hungry? So
I thought why shouldn’t I prepare something for you & take good care of
your health & he also offered a lovely tea to her”. Seeing all this, tears
came out of Bani’s eyes & she made an honest confession before Amit that
“Yes I have never looked after myself so much as I do care about you both &
this juncture by you has brought these tears out of my eyes Dad. I know I am
very alone & today I want to tell you that I had loved Vinay a lot during
my college days, but never confessed it neither before him nor before you. It
was a one sided affair, but perhaps he
had read love in my eyes & he managed to propose me one day” & now Amit
completed her sentence “& that date was “10th Jan 2007, your
birthday & you rejected his proposal & this was one of the most painful
birthdays you had ever had in your whole life & recently you met Vinay here
in Chandigarh with his wife Anshu & his one year old son Vasu on 10th
Feb 2013 & was very happy to see him happy & settled in his life, but
somewhere down the heart you felt alone very lonely…I know beta, I am your dad
what do you think that if you will password protect your laptop Can I not open
it? I know your password...its ‘meri pyaari maa’ I know my dearest daughter how
much pain have you gone through in all your life, if I have kept Anita alive in
my heart you have also not forgotten her…you have also kept her alive…I check
your laptop every day when you are not at home…but don’t worry this will be a secret
between you & me as always but if the need arises I will disclose it. What
do you think that you have spoiled your young life for Anya & will I stay
mute, no I will make her realize what have you done for her & our family
when the need arises. This is the biggest obligation on our family, especially
on me because I am father & how did you hide this from me…”
Bani
was just listening & seeing to what Amit was saying & she could feel
that today a possessive & caring father was speaking out of him & she
didn’t even blinked her eyes while he was saying all this to her & at the
end of his speech she walked up to him & hugged him tightly & Amit said
“I am your father, I can hear the every sound of your heart beat, Anya is
younger today but tomorrow when she will cross your age she will realize what
you have done for her…I wish to God that may you meet your life partner very
soon & to celebrate this day I have given off to all our domestic help
today as within next few hours we both will go to Hotel Taj to have a lunch of
our choice & do remember that today up to 4 pm until we go to pick Anya
from college I your boyfriend & not your father so you can speak your heart
out to me regarding whatever you wanted to say to Vinay, you can say it to me
& during lunch I want you to order whatever you feel like because today I
want you to live your life as you want to spend it on your terms & just be
‘bindaas’ do whatever you feel like & say whatever you like…I want you to
be happy…very very happy…Then after
picking Anya from college we will go to a movie @5 pm & on your way
home once again visit Taj for dinner…so this is my plan for the day…So just be
‘you for you & me’ & enjoy the day as if you are a 16 year old girl
free from all responsibilities & worries & live a life on your terms
& yes don’t you ever change the password of your laptop & that’s an
order, not a request”.
So
this is how Amit had planned the day’s proceedings…well now let’s shift our
focus to Anya’s 1st day in
college, she was feeling little bored at college while Economics lecture was on
& the same was conducted by Mrs. Breganza, College Principal, so though the
subject was boring you can never afford to bunk her class & so she was just
trying to concentrate while another boy Samar who was sitting behind her by one
row offered her a water in his water bottle & she was quick to grab it as
she was feeling very sleepy & there was two periods free time after this
class, after drinking water she thanked Samar by saying ”Thank you Mr….” &
Samar completed the line by saying “Samar, that’s my name & what’s your
name…” & while completing his line he extended hand for a hand shake with
Anya & she completed the line by saying ”My name is Anya Sahay. Is Samar
your full name I mean to say what your surname is?” & now Samar said ”Sahani…&
my full name is Samar Sahani” & with a gentle smile on her face Anya said
“Nice to meet you Mr. Samar Sahani” & with this brief & formal
conversation the period also ended & as there was free time of 2 period
they both decided to go to Canteen to have lunch & freshen them up as the
final period was about to begin at 3:10 pm. So in canteen Anya had her lunch,
while Samar ordered for a South Indian meal & they both had good time
together as two periods were free so they talked about their study, likes &
dislikes & with this casual talk time got up & they had to get ready to
go to attend a class of Hindi Literature because in BA Hindi was a compulsory
subject, so they attended this class & came out of class together, while
Amit & Bani were standing at the college gate to pick her up. Samar greeted
them “Namaste” with both his hands folded. They both accepted his greet with a
smile on their faces. On seeing both Dad & Elder Sister Bani Anya was very
happy & she also introduced Samar to both of them by saying “Dad & Didi,
this is Samar, my class mate, we have met just today, he’s a nice guy”, to
which Amit asked “Nice to meet you Samar, so what do you do except doing BA” to
which Samar said “Sir! I work in Anandham Library as a Librarian for four hours
from 6 pm to 10 pm as I do live in “Mangal Boys Hostel” so earn a living &
to help my Dad who’s living in Gujarat & is a Land Lord by profession &
many laborers work under him but I work here not for him but for my self-respect
& to evaluate my strengths & weakness & then I go home & study
till late night & sleep” listening all this Amit was very impressed with
Samar & he said “Samar I am very impressed with you. Anya look at him, how
he has kept himself busy & is also earning while learning, that’s the
spirit. Please do come home on Sundays as I do hope that at least on Sundays
library will remain closed or any other day whenever you are free but before
coming do give me a call so at least there will be someone at home to look
after you” & they exchanged phone numbers.
So
Sahay family spend the evening as they wanted to & arrived at home around
10 pm, on reaching home Anya & Bani both were very happy as they had just
seen the movie “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” & were very impressed by it. So, Anya was
laughing it loud & Amit quietly went to his room & then he went to bed
but only after saying “Good Night” to both his daughters & was happy to see
both of them having fun. Then suddenly once Anya was over with how was her day,
Bani who was just staring at her suddenly asked her “Do you love Samar? I had
seen that while Samar was telling about himself & his dad you were
listening to him very attentively it was as if you were very much ‘concerned’
about him & who knows when this ‘concern’ may take the form of love over
time?” to which Anya confessed “Yes! I am concerned about him & I was
listening to him very seriously but as if now he’s a nice guy for me &
nothing more than that…& love is not my cup of tea…I cannot love anybody I
have to complete my BA & that’s my top priority…” listening & seeing
all this Bani was assured that Anya was not in love with Samar but she was sure
of what she had seen & decided to talk to her father tomorrow morning… on
the other hand, Anya was very happy over the memories of her 1st day
in college & was re-collecting the memories of the entire day.
Next
day, after escorting Anya to college in the morning she talked to Amit about
this & he replied “Okay…Bani if you have noticed it then its’ fine, I will
talk to Anya in next few days as we will have to give her some time as love is
a very serious business…Thank you so much you are not even her elder sister but
also our mother…” & he kissed her on the forehead. So days passed by &
then on one Sunday, his phone rang up at 10 am & it was Samar on the other
side & he sought his permission to come to his home & have lunch with
them & Amit was happy to welcome him & was both pleased & surprised
to receive a call from him. So he instructed his daughters who were watching TV
to not to go out for shopping or any other program as Samar was coming at
lunch.
Exactly
at 11:30 am on Sunday 17th March, his inter phone rang up, it was
Sumeet, his security guard at the other side & he sought his permission
regarding sending Samar inside his home & Amit also talked to Samar on the
inter phone & also instructed Sumeet to never to stop him from coming home
but give us a ring on the inter phone informing us about his arrival, so Samar entered “Sahay Mansion” which was more
of a home of his dreams than just a home, it was “larger than life” home for
him although he too was residing in his double storied home “Ashiyana” but the
lawn, the courtyard & the outhouse for servants were big & this is something which he liked a
lot. On meeting Amit for the 1st time he mentioned about this
particularly & Amit said laughing “One of my son in law will have to become
my ghar jamai
because I am not going to bear the pain of separation of both of my daughters
at any cost & one of them will stay with me forever & I am very serious
& particular about this” to which Samar replied in a merry mood “& if
both the daughters fell in love with one man then…” to which Amit replied “This
would be the best news for me after all marriage expenses of my another
daughter will be saved” & they all laughed it out at Lunch & then
around 1:30 pm Samar took Amit’s leave with a promise that he will come soon
next time,
On
Wednesday 20th March 2013, Amit talked to Anya very frankly &
asked her “Do you have a soft corner in your heart for Samar? I mean do you love
him?” to which Anya quickly responded “Not all Dad! Right now I am only
concerned about scoring good marks in my graduation like Bani Didi & my
primary objective is to help you in your jewelers business as its time now for
you to search a groom for Didi, don’t you think so? She has done a lot for us
& I am not going to leave this home & I will marry only that man who
will agree to become a ghar
jamai because I don’t want
you to be alone in this world. By the way I do think that Didi might have told
you about Samar & must have asked you to talk about him to me. Am I right?
She was already asking me about Samar on 9th March, my 1st
day in college” & Amit replied “Yes you are 200% right, it’s Bani who
talked about this to me & asked to consult you. Look I believe that she’s
not even your elder sister but she has looked after the affairs of our entire
household not only like your mother but sometimes she also assumes the role of
my mother after Anita’s passing away & we know that we are her universe &
if you find any Mr. Perfect for him, promise me you will inform me”, “Okay Dad!
I Promise I will let you know” & this how their “productive” discussion
concluded @ 8 pm.
On
Sunday 24nd March 2013@12:30 pm, suddenly Samar’s phone rang-up
& with this ring he got up & the 1st words he uttered was
“Who’s it? So early in the morning…” & from the other side a strong voice
said ”It’s not early morning dear Samar…its already 12:30 pm & this is Amit
Sahay this side” to which Samar said “I am sorry Uncle ji, I couldn’t recognize
your voice on phone, actually I heard your voice on my cell for the 1st
time so I am sorry actually I slept last night around 4:30 am & was
studying all night so I slept carelessly & I do hope that my milk must have
got spoilt in today’s heat at the door as milk man drops it at door at 7:30 am
& now its 12:30 pm” & he went to pick it up & as said it had
already got spoilt. Amit said ”Actually we were expecting you at lunch & my
aim of calling you was to enquire about the reason of your being absent at
lunch” to which Samar replied “That’s so nice of you Uncle ji! Even I would
also love to join you but when I talked to my Dad at home he told me that he
would 1st like to visit your home & he’s coming here on Friday,
27th March & will be visiting your home on Sunday 29th
March along with me. So in keeping with his words, I decided to stay back” to
which Amit replied “That’s so of you Son! & it’s nice to see that even
today you are so obedient child of your parents & informs your parents
about everything happening in your life. Well, no issues why don’t you join us
@ 5 o’clock for the evening tea, I
promise none of us will disclose it to your dad that you had came here today…so
please don’t be formal & don’t hesitate…today I am very happy to know about
you & am proud of the fact that Anya has chosen you as her friend.” &
Samar was very obedient to him & he said “Okay Uncle ji, on your request
& assurance I will be coming sharp @ 5 & it’s my honor & privilege
that you have accepted me as Anya’s friend & believe me I will never break
your trust” & disconnected the call.
Then
Amit informed his daughters about the reason of Samar’s absence @ lunch &
also requested them to not to disclose his father that Samar had came to their
home today on his father’s visit to their home on next Sunday 29th
March. Exactly @5 Sumeet called Amit on interphone informing about Samar’s
arrival & in next few minutes Samar was in front of them in lawn as entire
Sahay family was enjoying the cool evening breeze & exactly @5:10 pm Bani
arrived with tea & snacks while Anya was accompanying Bani with snacks in
another tray. So, Amit here it is! tea with snacks…” & they had good time
as again Amit proposed Samar what do you think about any of my daughters to
which Samar “Kya kaha aapne Uncle ji, do you want me to select my bride among
any of the two daughters?” & Amit was quick to reply ”See I am a jeweler by
profession & I cannot let a gem like you to get like you to go out of my
hands after all, In today’s era where will I find a son-in-law like you who’s
so obedient to his parents…” to which Samar replied “Okay Uncle ji! If you are
a jeweler than I am also a son of land lord whose one inspection is enough to
know the fertility of the land & it’s both a deal & a man’s promise
that I will inform you 1st of all if I will have a soft corner for
any of the two?” & they all laughed it out while Bani was blushing by
standing a bit far from all of them & Anya noticed this… around 6:15 pm
Samar took their leave & Amit was insisting that he should have dinner with
them but Samar went as he had pay advance monthly rent to Mr. Tilak Raj,
Hostel-in-Charge as it was his practice to pay advance monthly rent a week or
two weeks before hand by 7:00 pm & his hostel was at 30 minutes on foot
journey from “Sahay Mansion” & seeing & knowing all this Amit was
wandering what a boy is this? So obedient, so hardy, so rich & yet so down
to earth & he promised to himself that he will never let him go out of his
hands….
Tonight
it was Anya term to abuse Bani & she was in no mood to get this opportunity
to go & after dinner in their room @10 pm she asked Bani “What happened
today? Why were you blushing? When dad was talking to Samar about marriage” to
which she replied “It’s nothing like that it’s just that whenever I hear about
marriage I feel shy & I blush as the thought of getting married makes me
embarrassed a lot & that’s it. Actually there was a boy named Vinay who had
proposed me but I rejected because you were very in school & I had to look after you, dad & home, so my
dear sister, it’s not that love stories always have happy ending sometimes,
they do have a sad ending, so go to sleep & have sweet dreams….” She said
laughing & turned her back towards Anya & Anya was “speechless” &
had nothing to say…but then she came on the other side of the bed & touched
Bani’s feat & drop of her tears fell on Bani’s feet & she got up &
Anya said “Didi, Dad always said that Bani is not your elder sister instead
she’s your mother but I laughed it out but today you made me cry…” & they
both hugged each other, while Amit was standing at the door & he too had
tears of happiness in his eyes & then he entered the room saying “& I
will be the most happy man on the day Bani will get married” & they all
laughed it out…
Next day, when Samar
met Anya, she greeted him with the phrase “Good Morning! Most Obedient Boy of
the Universe” & Samar smiled at her & acknowledged her greeting humbly
by saying “Good Morning! Smartest lady of this Universe. I accept the title
given by you with an open heart & am very much honored” & then they
went to attend their daily classes. Post classes, Anya asked Samar what kind of
food his father would prefer to which Samar replied “Dad is the coolest person
in this universe; he has no special preference in food but yes after food he
loves to eat a small bowl full of sweet curd & Yes! Please do take note
he’s 200% vegetarian so never ever talk about cow, eggs, chicken or mutton in
front of him…he hates to even hear about them eating is far away…so happy
hosting…we will be coming on Sunday 31st March sharp @11:00 am”. On
coming home, the 1st thing Anya did was that she informed her family
& all domestic helps about this in strict words…so there was no scope for
mistake being committed by anyone at any cost…
In all this daily
routine came Sunday 31st March 2013 & sharp@11:00 am Sumeet rang
up Amit on his interphone to inform about Samar’s arrival with his dad &
Amit himself came to welcome them & seeing this juncture of such a
millionaire Suraj Sahani, Samar’s father, was very much impressed & he
greeted Amit in English “Good Morning Mr. Amit Sahay, I am very happy to see
you” Amit was bit surprised to see a rural land lord speaking English but he
hide his astonishment with these words “I am also very much honored to have you
at my home today…it’s been nice to see you so active even at this age” &
Sooraj Singh laughed it out & shook hand tightly.
To which Amit said
“Mr. Sahani your grip is very tight” & Suraj was quick to reply “Yes! We
rural people hold tightly but once we hold you we will not let you go away”
& Samar sought Amit’s blessings by touching his feet to which Amit reacted
“Please don’t embaress me by touching my feet” & Suraj replied “No need to
get embarrassed Mr. Sahay, it’s part of our culture” & when his daughters
were about to touch Suraj’s feet he stopped them by saying that “In our family,
girls don’t touch elder’s feet, so for my lovely daughters I have this…” &
handed over to them ladies wrist watch. So this is how Mr. Sahani was welcomed
at “Sahay Mansion”.
While they were
seated at the hall, Amit said “Sahani ji, I want to a commitment from you on
seeing such a nice & well mannered boy like Samar that if he falls in love
with any of my daughters, then he will tell me first of all & make us
relatives “Samadhi for life time” to which Suraj was even quicker to reply
“Done Sahay ji, 200% but he will let me know first after all you stole the
words of my heart” & Samar replied quickly by saying “I will make both of
you know at the same time by putting you on conference on my cell” & this
is how Mr. Sahay secured the future of at least one of his daughters.
After Lunch, when
they all sat in the hall once again, then Suraj said “You must be wondering how
can a rural land lord speak English so fluently Sahay ji. Actually we are Jatts from Haryana & my daddy Amrit
Sahani send me to Ranchi, Jharkhand to do graduation from Ranchi University
& I was the 1st graduate of my village about 40 years ago…&
now there’s a graduate in every 4th home of our village & we do
irrigation from tube wells & we are not dependent on rain for irrigating
our lands, that’s wonderful…actually education is the solution of many problems
our nation is facing today but very few people realize this…& I shall be
always indebted to my father for sending me to Ranchi for doing graduation
actually he was of the opinion that ‘NksVs ls ’kq: djksxs] r“h rks cMs+ cu
ikvksxs’,
& he was absolutely right & today I have send Samar to Chandigarh &
I am planning to open a high school (if God will help then classes will start
from LKg to +2) for him & our villagers”.
Amit was very happy
to know about Sahani family & all he could say is that “I am deeply very
honored & happy to know you & your family back ground & it’s my
pleasure to have you as my family friend. Actually, I have a request for you
& my request is that I want Samar to come to my home every Sunday to have
Lunch with us. Actually Samar had already told me about himself & his daily
routine in 1st meeting & since then I admire him & honor him a lot” to which
Suraj added “Sahani ji, actually we are honored to have a family friend like
you who is so nice at heart & since
Samar told me that you are a jeweler by profession so I will send some old
& antique jewelry of my family through him next Sunday & I want you to
transform it into a modern & extremely beautiful designs, but please keep
in mind mine is 24 carat gold & I want the same quality in return from you”
to which Amit replied confidently “Please don’t worry Sahani Sahab, you will
get the top most quality & the most exquisite & exclusive designer
jewelry from ‘Anita Jewels’ we won’t disappoint you, after all we are going to
become “Samadhi” in future” & then Sahanis took leave from Sahays by saying
“We will meet after the break…”
Now Amit was very
impressed as it was almost 4 o’clock in the evening & with Sahanis visit
how time passed by they couldn’t realize. Then came Sunday, 7th
April & Samar was back with family jewelry at “Sahay Mansion” exactly @11:30
am & the first thing which he did on entering their home was that he
thanked Amit for saving him from his dad as he put up the facts so nicely
before him that he was very impressed & happy at the end of the day… &
then Amit got into business & he himself inspected their jewelry &
found it to be 24 carat gold in reality & said to Samar “Okay Samar you
will get the exquisite & exclusive collection of our shop on next Sunday
& that’s a man’s word…your father was absolutely right it’s an antique
& 200% pure ancestral jewelry” & then they had great time together
& slowly but steadily Anya was getting attracted towards Samar & in
this way 2 years passed by & now Sahanis were regular visitors at Sahays
home & vice versa. Actually, 6 months ago, Amit also went to Haryana for
some official job so he was also a day’s guest at Sahani’s home “Ashiyana”
& he was very much impressed by the fact that even in village their home
was equipped with all modern amenities like Wi-Fi, Tube Well, 24 hrs
electricity equipped with Generator, Voltage Stablizer, LCD TVs, Laptops. He
was very surprised to see that Suraj’s wife Chandni Sahani was operating a
tablet & was on facebook & twitter web sites. All in all, he was
assured of the fact that one of his daughters was going to lead a peaceful
& happy life if she becomes daughter-in-law of Sahanis. He also shared his
experience with his daughters when he arrived at Chandigarh next day.
Then towards the end
of the session with 10 months remaining, suddenly due to summer Anya fell sick
& Samar & Anya were nominated to make a project on “Modern Day
Pollution, Our Mindset & Its Solutions” but as Anya was sick due to sun
stroke & was also suffering from fever Samar visited her home & Bani
said “Just don’t talk much to her…” to which Samar replied “Ya! I do
understand” & he entered her room in his old style “How are you Miss
Innovation, always trying to do something new & extra? How will I complete
my project without you?” & Anya replied “Bani Didi will help you…Is that fine
with you…” by that time Bani had entered the room with Anya’s medicine &
some snacks for Samar & then she made Anya sleep & got ready to help
Samar in the project & asked him to come tomorrow but to her study, where
she looks after dad’s business also…& was also working in the shop with her
dad…as due to Anya’s illness she had to stay home since past few days….
Next day Samar
arrived at “Sahay Mansion” around 4:30 pm & Bani herself opened the door
for him & they both went to her study & Samar was very impressed to see
how sincere was she in helping her & she already searched all the info from
the Net & had presented the same in the form of word file to him &
Samar was making notes of the same on his diary & she went to kitchen to
prepare orange juice for Samar &
also served medicine to Anya as the time was already 5:00 pm, time to serve
evening dose to Anya had crossed. After serving here medicine she entered study
around 5:15 pm & suggested Samar to take the back up of the entire file on
a pen drive for you must be having a laptop with you here? To which Samar
replied “Bani you are right I have a laptop but at home & I have knowingly
not brought it here because I don’t want to become ‘lazy’ I want to work out my
way myself & that’s why I am noting down all the info on this diary I have
completed ½ of the article, it’s so nice of you that have already searched so
much info from the Net for me & given it the shape of word file, that’s
outstanding…” Bani was quick to reply “Actually it’s my selfishness because
Anya’s name is associated with you How can I let her come down she might be
unwell, but I am okay & I will do anything for my surname to be kept right
at the top as this is the place where we belong” & “Bani is always with you
in this project” were the words with which Amit Sahay entered Bani’s study
exactly at 5:30 pm. Then Samar saw his watch it was already 5:30 pm & he
drank the juice in hurry & said “Oh God! I am already getting late have to
arrive at Anandham Library at 6:00pm” & he ran out without wasting any time
but he had placed a yellow rose at Bani’s laptop with a note for Bani but
neither Bani nor Amit noticed it & on that note he had written “For you
Bani, you are a real sweet heart, fortunate to have you as my friend - Amit”.
This continued for
next 5 days & none of them noticed it neither Bani nor Amit even Samar had
not noticed it that the yellow rose had lost its fragrance & color but
still it was lying there as Samar used to come to her study exactly at 4:30 pm
& go out 5:20 pm & as always it was Bani who opened the door for him
& close the door & considering the time value she used to keep orange
juice prepared for Samar at 4:30 pm
& also helped him in noting down notes as she used to dictate &
he used to note them down & over time he got attracted towards Bani &
he experienced the fact that Bani was more “composed, mature & dignified”
in her behave, conduct & handling of affairs, while Anya was “free,
flamboyant, very friendly & frank” girl perhaps it’s the age gap over time
she will also become like Bani & today on the 5th night he could
not sleep because he discovered the fact that he was in love with Bani but the
problem was that she was 5-6 years elder
than him & was MBA & the age gap was preventing him from proposing her.
Then around
mid-night he rang up his father Suraj Sahani on his cell & when he saw that
it was Samar on the otherside he woke up Chandni, put his cell on speaker &
uttered these words “Kay baat se chora ke tari maa ke liye bahu ka intjaam ho
gaya hai ka?” Samar said,”Wah Dad! Aapne kaise jana” to which he replied “baap
hoon tera, le sari baat apni maa se karle, main janta hoon tu mujhse itna
khulkar baat nahi karega jitna apni maa se karta hai” & then he switched
off the speaker & handed over the phone to Chandani & he econfessed his
feelings & love for ban to his mother & she assured him that she will
talk to Suraj & that they will try to sort out this matter with Amit within
next 2-3 days & then she disconnected the call & confided everything to
Suraj & he was happy to know & in that happiness he send SMS to Samar
“Hum Tere Saath Hain, Bas Tu Apni Bhavano Ko Zara Control Mein Rakhna” &
Samar was very happy that his parents were with him.
Next morning at 8 am
Amit cell phone rang-up & it was Suraj on the other side & after formal
greeting he narrated the entire love story of Samar for Bani to him & said
now the problem is that he’s ashamed of confessiong his love & proposing to
Bani because of the age gap between the two & he also feels guilty of the
fact that over the past 2 years he has been Anya’s class mate will this
decision of his not hurt Anya? Will she not feel embarrsed & cheated? That
he is her class mate & being her class mate he is in love with her elder
sister? What will she think of him? & many questions like this are haunting
his brain & we have to together find a solution to this embarssing
situation. Hearing & knowing all this, Amit was super excited & he
assured Suraj that he will definitely work it out with Samar on this…& then
he also send SMS to Samar “Oh Khush Kar Diya Samar Beta, We all are with you
& will definitely find a solution to all this…” now getting these messages
on his cell Samar was super-excited & he decided to present a bouquet to
Bani today evening when he will go to her home for taking notes.
Sometimes it happens
that on the righttime, all things fall at the right place as Anya had also recovered
from her illness last night & today after a long time she had herself
prepared a break fast for her family & was very happy as she called them
for break fast at the top of her voice at 8:40 am & both of them came down
& she greeted them with a lovely hug & also gave a “Thank You” card to
Bani for looking after entire official & domestic affairs & also
helping Samar in preparing the project & the date today was Wednesday 6th
Jan 2016 & Bani’s birthday 10th Jan was approaching. Thay all had
break fast together & then Bani went to the market to buy some clothes of
latest trend for Anya as she was very happy & she had promised Anya that if
she gets well before her birthday then she will gift her “an exclsive dress”
just for her & she bought track suit for her father also & nothing for
her & when she was about to return home she found that her car’s tyre had
got punchured so she rang-up Amit & he assured her that he’s sending Vivek,
their family driver, with another car & that he will get the tyre repaired
& return home with her car.
Mean while today
Anya decided to clean Bani’s study & when Bani went to shoppoing & Amit
to shop she entered her study & there she found that dried yellow rose which
Samar had gifted her few days ago & she was filled with anger to know that
Samar being her class mate had fallen for Bani & was having soft corner for
her in his heart although she was also attracted towards him since past 2 years
& that she could never let this happen…she can’t let Samar go out of her
grip…but wise thing which she did was that she rang up Amit first &
informed him about all this & also confessed her love for Samar to him. To
which Amit just replied one thing he disclosed to her Bani’s laptop’s password
& asked her to go to the date 10th Jan 2007 & let me know
her decision in the evening on my return to home.
She opened Bani’s
laptop & went to the said date & on that date Bani had written “My Love
& my heartbeat Vinay proposed me today & it was a nice feeling &
experience but I rejected his proposal because Anya is just 16 years old she
has not even completed her schooling & dad’s business is expanding so my family
needs me more than my personal ambitions & wishes so I have decided to say
a big no. I know that at night my pillow will be completely wet but the weight
of my family duties is much heavy than my own desires & at this point of
time I don’t want to become “selfish” because if I will go now then Anya will
be left completely all alone & what will dad do? Will he mange the shop or
will he manage Anya? No I am not such a selfish human being. I will wait for
the appropriate time & once every thing gets settled only then will I get
married & that too if I find Mr. Perfectionist like Vinay, who will respect
& accept my family more than me. Then she went on to read the entire word
document & reached upto today Wednesday 6th Jan 2016 & about
today she had written “It’s nice to see that Anya has recovered from illness
& guess what today she had prepared break fast for us & now I am going
to shopping to gift her ‘Anya Sahay exclusive Dress’ after all, she’s not my
younger sister, she’s my daughter & no mother can stay away from her
daughter. May God give her all that she has ever desired for as I don’t want
her to live a life like me & fulfill all her dreams & wishes…” On
reading all this, tears flowed down Anya’s cheeks & she decided that she
will not come in way of Samar & Bani. She hardly finished reading the
document, suddenly Bani’s entered the room & she cleaned her face &
welcomed Bani in “Anya Sahay” style as if nothing had happened & that as if
she was very happy to receive the gift from her & committed that she will
also buy a gift for Bani & that she will have to accept it & Bani gave
her word “Okay do whatever you feel like, may God fulfill all your dreams &
wishes”. In her room she opened the gift & it was a very very beautiful
dress like a little angel & was a milky white frock with a matching perce
& hair band & Anya decided to buy the same dress for Bani & gift it
on her birthday.
At 4 o’clock she
went to the same store & bought the same dress for Bani & today she
proposely left Samar & Bani alone at home so that they could spend some
quality time with each other. From there she went to “Anita Jewels” & met
her Dad in his chamber & made him believe that she will never come in their
way but she loved Samar a lot, to which Amit replied “See Anya I know its very
difficult to forget the one you love, look at me Anita is no more between us,
but I have kept her alive & I talk to her picture every day, so you too
have to engage yourself in some other activity once your graduation gets over
& its hardly a matter of few more months. Look at Bani, 9 years ago she had
said ‘No’ to a boy like Vinay who was her true love & she forgot him for
you & me & devoted herself to us & our service, what do you think
has she forgotten her, do you know even today sometimes her pillow gets wet
& I don’t know whether you have noticed it or not but she changes her
pillow cover thrice in a week. Have you even wondered why? I am not favoring
her but I am making you realize how big sacrifice have she made for our
happiness & house hold she’s like a mother to both of us & today I beg
of you to let her live her life happily…” Anya was in all tears & she
hugged him & said “Okay! Dad I am with you in this noble cause” Then Amit
asked Anya to try to get Vinay’s cell no from Bani’s cell but the twist is that
she should not come to know of it in next 24 hrs as he’s the only man who can
bring her round to accept Samar’s love due to age gap between them. To which Anya
replied “Dad you are a very good planner & schemer. Okay! Your job will be
done. But Dad how do you know that Vinay’s Cell No is in Bani’s Cell?” To which
he replied “Beta! Those who love somebody dearly preserve their memories very
dearly. I am sure Bani has his no”.
While Anya &
Amit was discussing all this, as usual Samar rang-up the door @4:30 pm &
Bani herself opened the door & today she was looking very very beautiful in
light yellow colored saree, matching blouse, sandals & vermillon (Bindi) on
her forehead &on seeing her dressed like this suddenly Samar kissed her on
her right cheek & said “Today you are looking extremely beautiful &
this one is for you”, though Bani was surprised & shocked at this juncture
of Samar but she liked it after all after so many years any boy had showered so
much love & affection upon her so she asked “What’s this Samar? & Why
all this?” & Samar replied “This is token of believe & friendship to a
friend & for a friend whom I trust a lot in this world. If you don’t like
then I will not do it again, I hope you will not take it otherwise. Yes! By the
way where’s Anya?” to which Bani replied “Anya has gone for a shopping to buy a
dress for me as my birthday is on 10th Jan & good news is that
she has recovered & she prepared break fast for us today morning. I liked
it but don’t do it repeatedly & don’t ever make it a regular practice &
if you want to do it, then do it in private as you did it now but that too
sometimes…” & Samar said in happy mood “Okay! Bani I shall take care of
your sentiments & honor & that’s great news that Anya has recovered”.
Then she brought orange juice for him &
started dictating notes & then suddenly door bell rang-up @5:10 pm & it
was Anya, Bani was happy to see her & Anya was too happy to see Samar
sitting down & copying notes but as sson as Anya entered Bani’s study Smar
closed down his note book & greeted her with these words “Kaise ho meri
chipkali?” & she shouted at him”Am I a lizard” & he was quick to reply
“You are that lovely lizard whom I love very much but as a friend” & then
Anya asked her while Bani was in Kitchen preparing Coffee for her “So Mr.
Wicked you had gifted a yellow rose to Bani Didi? Do you know what effect it
will have upon her if she comes to know about this…” to which Samar replied
“Oh! You found it. Thank God! I was bit embarrassed. I like Bani a bit more
than you so I gifted her yellow rose perhaps she might have or might not have
noticed it? But I am thinking of gifing her a red rose someday…what do you say
“to which Anya said at the top of her voice as Samar was at the door by that
time as time was already 5:20 pm “That’s absolutely your personal decision
& I am not going to help you out there you have to work your way out
yourself…” After next few mintes Bani entered study with Coffee for both of
them & she was surprised to see that Anya had bought the same dress which
she had bought for her & on being asked Anya replied “I want you to feel
like being Anya Sahay on your this birthday. I have a special surprise for you
this time & believe me you will like it a lot. So I want you to feel young
& have a blast this time…” & they both hugged each other & mean
while while Bani went to kitchen to place the crockery she searched Vinay’s
cell no from her cell & SMSed it to Amit & in reply Amit send SMS
“Thank you Beta, I am proud of you.”
Next day on Thursday
7th Jan 2016 @ 11 am, Amit rang-up Vinay & called him at his
chamber @ 8 o’clock in the evening & he agreed. But Vinay rang-up his
younger brother Ajay & called him to come to his office after his job gets
over in the evening & requested him to inform Anshu about it & also
that we will be coming late home in the evening & Ajay obeyed his words.
Exactly @8 both Vinay & Ajay were at Amit’s Chamber in “Anita Jewels”
though Amit was taken a back to see unknown person with Vinay but when Vinay
introduced Ajay to him he was calm & confident that whatever he will
disclose will remain secret. So he ordered Soft Drinks for all of them &
once the drinks were served he disclosed the entire matter to both of them
& he concluded with these lines “Vinay, I want you to meet Bani tomorrow at
Lunch & try to bring her round so that she should accept Samar’s love. I
know that it sounds little awkward due to age gap, but I know it’s you &
only you who can bring her round” & after listening to the whole story
Vinay said “Okay! Uncle ji I will try to bring her round but do you think she
will agree because 9 years ago she had rejected my love proposal & that too
on her birthday & today she’s more mature, experienced & strong than
she was 9 years ago. Well, I am of opinion that even if she agrees, she will
again ask what about Anya, who will marry her? What about my Dad? & to this
I have only one reply Ajay. He will marry Anya”. Ajay was taken a back on
hearing this & he contradicted ”How can this happen? I have never met or
seen Anya?” & to this Amit replied “Okay! I am video calling her right now”
& he implemented his words then & there & Anya picked up the call
Amit asked “Where are you in home now” she replied “In Bani’s study”, he asked
“Where is Bani?” she replied “In hall watching a movie” to which Amit said
“Great news Beta, I have selected a groom for you, his name is Ajay & he’s
Vinay’s younger brother. I am handing over my cell to him & you both have
good & frank chat among yourselves & Ajay you better move to that small
private chamber of mine & have a chat with her” & Ajay obeyed his words
& had a smile & satisfaction on his face when he came out of it. So
they all greeted each other. At last, amit thanked both of them for helping him
to heal the wounds of Bani & also marrying Anya & above all, for making
this birthday of Bani a memorable one.
Now the plan was
that Vinay will have lunch with Bani at Anand Restaurant & Ajay will have
evening coffee with Anya at the same restaurant. So next day on Friday, 8th
Jan 2016, Vinay rang-up Bani @9am to fix a meeting with her @ 1 pm & Ajay
called Anya @ 11 am to fix a meeting @6:30 pm @ Royal Taste Restaurant. So as
Vinay had anticipated Bani raised the same question & only before him she
admitted that on 6th Jan Samar had kissed her on her cheeks &
for the 1st time she liked this act of his although she was bit
shocked & surprised, but she admitted the fact that she had instructed
Samar that “I liked it but don’t do it repeatedly & don’t ever make it a
regular practice & if you want to do it, then do it in private as you did
it now but that too sometimes…” &
Vinay had a laugh at it & he said “You liked it, you permitted him &
also you restricted him & this means Bani you are also in love with him
& you also like him a lot. Something which you never allowed me to do,
something which I never had the courage to do, you allowed him to do with it.
Now that’s Bani Sahay trying to walk on Anya Sahay’s footsteps, free,
flamboyant, frank, open & full of life” to which Bani replied “Yes! I too
have heart & I too want to lead a life like Anya, but I too have a
responsibilities to look after” to which Vinay replied “& I have the answer
to all your questions & my answer is my younger brother Ajay who working as
HR in Soft Net Solutions & is an MBA & he has already had achat with
Anya yesterday night & is ready to marry her & for your Dad’s business,
Ajay will also help him to execute & expand his business & all this is
being done with the conscent & permissionof your dad. He’s the one who has
set the chess for us because he wants to make this birthday of yours a
memorable one. Moreover, Bani I don’t
want Ajay to cry whole life as I do cry even today after losing you” &
while uttering these words tears flow down Vinay’s cheeks & he holded Bani
hands for next few moments & finally Bani nodded iher head in “Yes” with
tears in her eyes too for she was opinion that Vinay must have forgotten her as
he was very happy in his personal & family life. Finally he said “Ajay has
fixed a meetig with Anya @6:30 pm here only & you can come along with her
to see him just for few moments as I will call you at 6:40 pm & you can
make an excuse & let them have quality free time among themselves…Is that
okay Madam…” he completed the line with smile on his face & Bani replied
with a smile “That is super hit Sir…deal is struck, even I am also a daughter
of gold smith & I too can differentiate between a pearl & a stone…”
& they came out in a happy mood.
Exactly at 4o’clock
Anya rang-up Samar refraining him from coming home today as Bani’s birthday was
on 10th Jan instead she asked him to wait for her at college &
that she will be coming there to meet himin her car. Samar obeyed her orders
& she informed her about all the developments & asked him to reherse
how will he propose Bani day after yesterday? Now Samar was bit embarrassed as
he had never proposed a girl to which Anya said “Vow you can kiss her but can
not propose her what is all this…” & guess what Samar was shocked to know
that how did Anya came to know about this? To this she replied “Today afternoon
when Vinay had called Bani for a lunch I was also present there near their
table & I heard & saw their entire conversation but twist in the tale
was that I was wearing a Burqa & Samar said “So you are also a detective?”
but wait I too have a surprise for you I know that you are going to meet Ajay
@6:30 pm at the very same restaurant as Bani had sent me SMS informing me about
all this, so if you think that you are smart then Bani is also “smarter than
you” & have a look at this SMS. In front of her, he rang-up his parents
& requested them to come to Chandigarh tomorrow as bani birthday was on day
after tomorrow & so they are planning a surprise tfor her & surprise is
that he has to propose Bani in her birthday party in front of every body &
they confirmed that they are coming tomorrow.
Now Anya & Samar
sat together to think how to propose Bani & suddenly an idea struck into
their minds & both of them nodded their heads in “Yes”. So now Anya rnag-up Ajay & called him for
lunch tomorrow at Cafe South Restaurant @1pm & he agreed as next day was
sturday 9th Jan & he had a half-day shift in office so it was
okay with him & he reconfirmed with her was she coming @6:30 pm to Royal
State Restaurant & she said “Yes, I am coming”. So Anya & Smar’s plan
was “a secret” & Jay was kept out of it really & their today’s plan was
that as Anya was listening to Bani & Vinay’s conversation, he will also be
seated on a table near them & listen to their conversation so that if any
embarrassing or difficult situation comes, Samar will be there to help her
& morae boost her,
Exactly @6:30 pm
Ajay was there while Anya was late by 5 minutes as Bani had also acoompanied
Anya. Ajay was quick to recognize her & touched her feet to seek her blessings
& this was for the 1st time when anyone had bowed at her feet to
seek her blessings & it was a pleasant surprise to her & she was bit
embarrsed & all that she could so was “May God blesses you with all His
blessings. Don’t embarrass me as I am for Anya, similarly I am for you” to
which Ajay replied “Of Course Didi! But it was Vinay Bhai’s order to seek your
blessings when I meet you for the 1st time. He idolizes & honors
you a lot that being so young you scarificed yourself for the well being of Anya
& family business & I know everything about you both. Well, it’s nice
to see you & I will always bow at your feet because afterknowing everything
I do honor you lot & what about this witty little wonder?” & saying
this he slapped at Anya’s head & then suddenly Bani’s phone rang-up &
it was Vinay at the other side & time was 6:50 pm & Bani said “Yes I am
coming” as Vinay had invited her to have ice crem with him & his wife Anshu & she made an excuse &
went off from there. Now while Bani was having good time with both of them,
Anya & Ajay were having quality time among themselves, actually Anya was
more “witty” as Ajay had called her by that name. She charged him for calling
her “witty” & Ajay replied “Ya you are witty as you stole Vinay Bhai’s no
from Bani’s cell no & Bani Didi told Vinay Bhai. What do you think you are
smart? She’s not only your sister, but your mother & she knows ever bit of
you & she let you stole his no because she wanted to meet Bhai at least
once in private in her entire life & as anticipated by her the outcome was
up to the mark & she had understood Vinay & Amit Uncle ji. Do you know
that Bhai had told everything about him & Bani Didi to Anshu Bhabhi in his
1st meeting with her before marriage on the day he had gone to see
her with our parents & Anshu Bhabhi married Vinay Bhai because of his
“honesty & clear, clean & true confession of love” before her as Vinay
Bhai had said in his 1st meeting ”Okay! I love Bani & she will
always be my true love, but that does not mean that my love is blind. Today I
have came to marry you & I sincerely & honestly want to forget her
because I know she can not be mine at least in this birth & who knows over
time you may become my true love & I may fall in love with you more than I
love Bani” & today we are here because 4 years ago our parents passed away
together as we used to live in Delhi & it was becoming difficult to live
there as their memories continuosly haunted our mind & soul & leaving
in the same house was becoming very difficult & we are here since past 2
years. So this is all about me & my family. What about you dear?”
Now bani was bit
upset on knowing about Anya was bit sad, but then Samar came in front &
introduced himself as Anya’s would be brother-in-law & so became friend
with Ajay also & told him that tomorrow noon they (Anya, He & Ajay)
needs to buy the same dress as Bani & Anya has bought & in this Anya
will help them am I right my dear Sali ji? & Anya said “Absolutely right
Jija ji”, so they had coffee together & came out around 7:30 pm. Now Bani
was having Ice Cream Party on the other side of the road at Party Time Ice
Cream parlour along with Vinay & Anshu & they all came out in a happy
mood & met each other. At this Anya remarked at Vinay ”Wah! Bhaiya you all
had ice cream party & had great time with each other” to which Vinay was
smart enough to reply “We thought that we should let you all have quality time
with each other so we had party time & I am very happy that Anshu &
Bani have met each other & have become good friends & it was extremely
important for them to meet at least once in a lifetime & then they all
departed to their respective destinations. That night Samar called his parents
& asked them to come to Chandigarh ASAP to which Suraj said “Okay we are
coming tomorrow by flight at 9 pm, is that okay with you” to which Samar
replied “That’s super cool Dad”.
So next afternoon,
as agreed all the three met in Party Time Ice Cream Parlour & from there
they went to City Center Mall to buy Kurta Payjama & Vasket along with a long
polyster muffler & the dress was exclusive designer wear for both of them,
exactly at 9 pm Samar’s parents also arrived & he dropped them at “Sahay
Mansion” & Amit was very happy to see them & complimented Samar for
inviting them to Bani’s Birthday Celebration & to this Suraj replied “Amit
ji after all its such a grand & happy occasion in your family so we had to
come” & then he said “Where’s the Birthday Girl” & this sentence was
corrected by Samar & he said “No now she’s not the birthday girl, she’s the
would be daughter-in-law of Sahani family” & Bani entered the hall & as
ssona s she touched the feet of Samar’s parents, his mother gifted her a
ancestral bracelet which was gifted by Samar’s grand mother to her & now
she was gifting it to her & this brought tears in their eyes & Samar
interrupted “If your emotional union is over, shall I talk to her for a
minute…” & Amit replied “Yes Shure! you can have chat” & then he took Sahanis to guest
room & left them alone in hall. In private, Samar asked Bani ”Are you happy
with all this developments because even now if you have any objection, you can
always pull back, I will never object” to which Bani replied “No I have no
objection, but I am worried about Dad once we both sisters get married he will
be left alone, though there’s time in our marriage, but what about him, so big
home & he will leave all alone…how will he pass his life & with whom
will he pass his life with no one at home to wait for him & care for him…”
Now Samar was in deep trouble, then an idea struck into his mind & he asked
Bani to call Vinay & she called him, it was Vinay on the other side &
now he confided his plan to Vinay at 1st Vinay objected but when
Samar said that Bani is worried about her dad, then he agreed & he agreed,
so the entire matter was settled. Now that tag line was that if her father had
plnned up Grand Birthday- Cum- Ring Ceremony for his daughters, then Bani also
had “a surprise” for him.
So, the day of
family re-union & much awaited Bani Birthday Sunday 10th Jan
2016 arrived & it was one of the busiest day ever in Sahay household &
when clock struck 7 o’ clock in the evening no one knew, from servants to Sahays
& Sahanis everyone was very happy but not ready to disclose the party’s
plan. Although everyone greeted happy birthday to Bani exactly at 8 am &
everyone had brought some gift for her but one new staff Rajesh, a new gardener
who had joined just 2 days ago gifted Bani a hand embroidered handkerchief to

future” & had made the shape of star in which he had written “Bani” &
this brought tears in her eyes & she said “Rajesh ji, this is the most
precious gift I have ver received, I will never use it & will always keep it
with me” & seeing this both of theirs eyes filled with tears.So morning had
told how the evening would be to some extent.
The gala party was
organized at the lawn of “Sahay Mansion” & Amit himself started the
proceedings of the evening as he welcomed everyone to the party & welcomed
everyone with these words “First of all a heart felt thank you to you all for
coming tonight to Bani’s Birthday. Actually, on her birthday I also want to do
ring ceremony of both of mine daughters & due to this reason I am super
excited. Moreover in the year 2007 , exactly 9 years ago, on her birthday someone
had proposed Bani & she had rejected his proposal because at that time Anya
was kid & my business was expanding & our house hold needed her &
this was a huge debt which I was carrying on my shoulders because I held myself
responsible for all this & I had thought that on some birthday I will pay
of her debt & see today that day has came, Ladies & Gentlemen, let’s
welcome my elder girl Bani on the stage…” Hearing all this Bani came up on the
stage & took mike from Amit’s hands & with moist eyes & in a
emotional voice she could only say “Thank You, a big big thank you Daddy…”
& she touched his feet & both became emotional & seeing al this
Suraj Sahani held on the mike & said ,”Ladies & Gentlemen, I am Suraj
Sahani. Mr. Amit Sahay’s Samadhi & would be father-in-law of Bani. Well all
I can say that I have never seen family like this that everyone is so attached
with each other that it can never be summed-up in figures. Well, I have stood
to just say that its promise that you
all will remember this evening for a long time & its going to be full paisa
vassol party for you all & may I request my younger sister Anya to start
the proceedings of the evening…”
(As there was music
party also with all musical instruments & gadgets) Anya climbed up the
stage & said, “As Suraj Uncle I promised this party is going to make you
dance on your toes & to make you do so, there’s one condition that everyone
who climbs up the stage will have to say in songs & not in words, so are

Now it was Ajay’s
turn & As Ajay climbed up the dais, Amit announced, “My dear friends,

Now Ajay announced,
“Vinay Bhai & Anshu Bhabhi…now your turn…” Both of them climbed up the

Vinay (to Amit) – “Uncle ji, please oblige us…
Amit climbed up the
stage & first he said,”Since my love Anita is no more with us physically
but I never felt her absence till date & this song is dedicated to her

everyone on the dais & they allsang this song for Bani, who was seated in

Seeing all this,
Vasu, Vinay & Anshu’s son, said “Bani Aunty ji every body is here except
Samar ji, why don’t you call him” to which Bani obliged by singing this song

Now that musical
night & engagement was over, it was time for Bani to cut the cake with
every body rejoicing in her happiness she cut down the cake & offered the 1st
piece to Amit & then the rest to others & last but not the least to
Samar & he said – “Now what why are you so worried everything is just going
to settle down” she pointed out at Amit who was standing aside & was crying
though everyone in the party was enjoying among themselves & Samar replied
–“Oh!understood time for surprise of the day…” & he went up to Vinay &
they all (including Sahanis & Sahays) walked up to him & Vinay said
“Post marriage Ajay will stay here with you so that you don’t have to bear the
pain of separation from Anya & this has happened due to Samar” to which
Samar & Bani replied together “Aapne Yeh Kaise Socha Ki Hum Aapko Akela
Chod Denge…Aapne Kya Socha Ke Surprise Sirf Aap Hi De Sakte Hain, Hum Aap Ko
Kya Surprise Nahi De Sakte Kya…” & Amit quickly cleaned his tears & he
blessed both the couples & very body burst into laoughter...
So the central idea
of the story is that if you work hard & sacrifice your interests (including
your love) for the well being of the family then God will definitely reward you
because He takes care of those who takes cares of others, so how He will reward
you only He knows…so be patient & have faith in his justice…He’s there with
you & for you all the way….
